Yeah but he also claims he drove it off of a cliff, with cliffs also being at minimum around 50 feet (don’t know if this is reliable) which makes it more deadly than average car crashes. Plus he was really only severely injured from the metal pole that went through his torso

it’s pretty hard to say if we don’t have a clip of the crash itself. either way scaling humans to car crashes they survive is a bit inane, car crash survival is mostly just a matter of luck and medical treatment

He’s still able to fight her perfectly fine, only ever going down when she kicks his broken foot, plus she kicks him in the chest (I think), which is enough to send him hurling back. And he caught her by surprise with a metal pipe, which also gave him the advantage for the first 10-20 seconds

i think the fact that he’s able to fight her with no problems while injured indicates a fairly significant disparity between the two

There’s a clip of the car seen upside down while John is climbing out of with a metal pole in his abdomen. I don’t really see how this changes the feat. The car likely would’ve been driving at high speeds off of a 50ft cliff (or maybe less) and the crash resulted in him being impaled and the car upside down. Wouldn’t really call that “luck” because we might as well say Mickey Altieri survived gunshots and a car crash because of “luck”. He would really only need “medical treatment” due to the fact he had a metal pole go through his torso

He caught her off guard with a pipe then starting beating on her. There are characters that still scale to other characters despite one of them being “injured” while they can still fight with no problems. Only a single kick to the chest was enough to send him hurling back. They basically traded blows with each other

usually when people say “cliff” they just mean any steep rock face. the 50 foot definition you got is from a physics forum, the thing about physics is that it kinda follows its own logic and defines things in ways that nobody does in everyday life

john surviving impalement is stamina, not durability. the car getting flipped over is definitely dangerous, but survivable. the fatality rate for rollover crashes irl is only 36%.

yeah, honestly i’d say that. normal people can survive those things. neither of those feats would necessarily make him 9-C if he didn’t have AP feats on the same level to back up his rating. john’s case can totally be chalked up to luck because that’s literally the reason why he becomes jigsaw, he knows that the crash absolutely should have killed him and gains an appreciation for life as a result
