I think it did have a literal physical ceiling tho making the scenery seem like a skybox, but afaik it is the ceiling of the stage, not the space itself. Worth checking out.

Having a physical ceiling doesn't negate the existence of a universe, only that it has reached the very end of the universe. Toei's description states that Goku has reached the end of the universe; Goku has raced to various planets and stars, and even during the fight against Pikkon we see what planets are like out there.



If anyone wants to make the Toei characters have 4 universes, they can use the official translation that I found here (with knowledge, of course).

Why is ssj2 rage amped Gohan kamehame ha 16x times higher than his ssj1 physicals?

Part of this is idk if charged attacks are supposed to be a 3x or 4x multipliers, for example the ultra instinct being a 4x from ssj blue kaioken 20x (in speed) is because genkidama base Goku, should already be stronger than a hypothetical Kame hame ha ssj blue kaioken 20x Goku, being over 3 times stronger with it

On top of that, he uses ssj blue kaioken 20x with the genkidama becoming 4 times higher

The point being that the kamehame ha is 3x multiplier from the physicals

So shouldn't ssj2 kame hame ha Gohan be 6x from ssj1 Gohan physicals? Or maybe 12x if rage amped is another 2x, but not 8x nor 16 cuz charged attacks arents a 4x from the physicals, right?

Downscaling isn't possible because the rage amps are not measurable.

because the currently accepted scaling chain is missing a ton of information, probably. like how "rage amps" only draw out one's latent potential further, and gohan's "rage amped" power as a super saiyan 2 is explicitly described as "his full power", "his true powers", the result of his current abilities no longer being held back by his own gentleness, etc., rather than being amplified beyond his limits.

From what you say, It kind of sounds like the rage amp is just part of the 2x of ssj2 multiplier (the rage leading to the transformation), pretty sure the SSJ2 2x multiplier was confirmed after all those things of the rage amp, right?, it being implied Gohan just got that 2x multiplier that didn't had a multiplier yet

Cell also stated to have "Powered up like Gohan" so basically becoming as many times stronger as Gohan did from going from ssj1 to SSJ2+ rage amp, so the gap they had before their power boost stayed the same, regardless of rage amp being part or not of SSJ2 multiplier

So narratively the rage amp extra multiplier can exist or not without inconsistencies

(Also, I still think that 4x multiplier of physicals to charged attacks in the AP ratings are wrong, it should be 3x multiplier because (even the AP ratings says) enraged kid Gohan is stated to be about 3x stronger than Goku, Raditz scales to that Gohan, and piccolo makankosapo killing him also puts him 3 times above Goku (who was his equal at the time)

A character with 10 of physicals would be >30 with charged attacks, not 40

I don’t have the thread for the revision of the KE formula, but omnidirectional KE methods were updated in the KE page in the wiki.

Whatever uses old formulas of 1/2 Mass for the calculation should be using 3/10 instead in the case of omnidirectional expansion which is how typically planet mass dispersion is depicted.

So a like 40% decrease in total values.

Yes? With a question mark. To clarify, transforming does not create power. When you transform, your body changes shape to become capable of unleashing and properly controlling greater degrees of your own, pre-existing latent potential; by the time he completed his training with Goku, Gohan had already developed his Super Saiyan 2 abilities and simply kept the power suppressed, as he had not yet triggered the physical transformation required to access such a level of strength. Additionally, being naturally gentle-hearted and compassionate, Gohan subconsciously suppresses his own power unless his fighting spirit increases, which only happens when his emotions (like anger) reach their peak—typically only when he needs to defend others. When his anger reached its peak after Android 16 died, he lost control of himself mentally, thus allowing his latent potential to awaken unrestricted, with the sudden increase in energy triggering his secondary transformation.

You do know you can charge up an attack more, right? The output of your charged attack varies, naturally. Hell, some techniques amplify your power even more than others when charged up. Kamehamehas and Final Flashes, for example, have been capable of injuring opponents who are more than ten times more powerful than the user (Fusion Zamasu, 7-3 Moro, Perfect Cell).

I’m not 100% certain but this applies to mass that is dispersed from the center point assuming the mass closer to the edge remains static, sort of what happens in cloud dispersal.

Expansion should be applied here because the planets’ whole mass (typically) scatters omnidiretionally meaning all of the mass moves from its original position to any given distance.

No, the 1/20 only works when total mass disperses from the center towards the edge and it is assumed none of it travels farther from the edge/ the outermost mass remains static that’s why it’s so low, because matter closer to the edge has to move less compared to the mass at the center.

Okay, I'm confused. Why do you think it's expansion exactly? Do you have an actual explanation or is it process of elimination? Admittedly, I don't fully understand the mechanics behind the omnidirectional KE standards, but to me, dispersion kinda just seems to be the naturally correct option; y'know, based off of the example images used by the Kinetic Energy Feats page and the fact that the mass is being scattered/dispersed/spread out.
