dude take that to the bleach thread, we don't want to start verse wars hereHow is bleach anything past solar
You're reffering to anime, where canceling was a thing, but in manga there was nothing about it. And as we can see, nothing was happening because even humans were unharmed in the EPICENTERThe Kaioshin’s statement regarding the destruction of the Universe refers to something that was actively happening. The Universe remained unharmed because both of them canceled out the energy that was produced to destroy the entire macrocosm.
You're talking about a statement, but I'm arguing it being a feat(that's why you're defending it to be better than DBZ)In fact, the waves crossing the macrocosm only serve as evidence that the energy reached that location, and according to the work itself, everyone scales with ki. That means the feat is 2-C, since they scale to the energy produced by the shockwaves of the impacts. And what does that have to do with anything? It is still stated that the Universe would be destroyed and that it was only a matter of time. All humans there would have died due to the event that would eventually cause the destruction of the Universe.
No, it doesn't mean that because if shockwaves were strong, then the Earth would be destroyed or atleast damaged, but on reality even humans were inharmed. It does not matter whether it was shaking or destroying, because the feat was still in progress. We see the shockwaves reaching another dimension outside the macrocosm, which means that, over time, the shockwaves would destroy everything around them.
Mate, if you’re so confident in removing the feat, just make a CRT to do it instead of talking in the DB thread. It’s evident that no one agrees with you, and that you aren’t going to change your position, so the only thing left to do is to try and put it to action. You're reffering to anime, where canceling was a thing, but in manga there was nothing about it. Again, there is no feat
I think making CRTs out of spite is against rules, tho.Mate, if you’re so confident in removing the feat, just make a CRT to do it instead of talking in the DB thread. hes doing this out of spite? i thought he just genuienly didnt believe the bog feat was 2C (manga)I think making CRTs out of spite is against rules, tho.
your argument about humans not being harmed is flawed when you realize humans werent even harmed in the anime. 2C humansYou're reffering to anime, where canceling was a thing, but in manga there was nothing about it. Yeah, because Z Frieza wasn't accepted to be universal busterhes doing this out of spite? i thought he just genuienly didnt believe the bog feat was 2C (manga)
im crineYeah, because Z Frieza wasn't accepted to be universal buster
2C pregnant videl
In anime they did it smart. There was a statement about shockwaves getting stronger with distance and that's why shockwaves didn't damage humans on Earth(it was too weak in epicenter).your argument about humans not being harmed is flawed when you realize humans werent even harmed in the anime. 2C humans
I know about them, like Arale contacting and overpowering him. But shouldn't they be explained by the fact Tori-bot was writing the entire plot and wrote everything in DB as it was stated, so he was a source of their power by giving them such lvl( For example, a non-1-A can be empowered by a higher entity into being able to influence things on a qualitatively superior level. This can happen either by a straightforward power boost, or by means of some innate metaphysical potential rooted in something from a higher reality (This can include both characters who are converted into natives of higher planes and characters who are physically lower-dimensional but have 1-A statistics https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Tiering_System_FAQ#Q:_What_is_qualitative_superiority) ?Too many anti-feats
This blog basically aims to explain whyCan someone explain to me how movies are canon to toeo despite the BIG contradictions, I have an argument for it but I want to hear y'all's opinions

I mean, this just explains the connections using guide books and 3rd party/promotional stuff (Besides Garlic.jr arc and Cooler in GT), how does explain the tons of nonsensical contradictions?

That's the neat part it doesn't. The blog was made mostly due to how contradictory the previous canon standards for Toei were, with having 4 films canon (Dead Zone, Cooler's Revenge, Fusion Reborn, Wrath of the Dragon) despite those films having strong connections to other far more contradictory ones, with those also having some connections to the anime. It was just a blatant double standard.I mean, this just explains the connections using guide books and 3rd party/promotional stuff (Besides Garlic.jr arc and Cooler in GT), how does explain the tons of nonsensical contradictions?
How Fusion Reborn is even canon? It's entire plot contradicts anime to the fullestThat's the neat part it doesn't. I get why even with that evidence it wouldn't buy you into it, the franchise never make a proper and cohesive effort to explain the weird Toei canon shenanigans between the anime and movies, for its many connections and contradictions
It's said to be GT Gogeta's first appearance, GT Gogeta references his lines from the movie. It's also objectively tied to the other films which have their own connections like Dead Zone with its Garlic Jr. arc. You guys gotta know that the east does not gaf about strict canon as much as the west. How Fusion Reborn is even canon? It's entire plot contradicts anime to the fullest
They don't. Hell, even Daizenshuu explicitely notes Movies 3 and 7 are in parallel worlds. The Dragon Box for the movies also says they are "What-Ifs"I mean, this just explains the connections using guide books and 3rd party/promotional stuff (Besides Garlic.jr arc and Cooler in GT), how does explain the tons of nonsensical contradictions?
Also the Movies were being made at the same time as the Manga was being publishedSnip
It's more like his appearence in media, because the entire movie of Fusion reborn can't happen withing anime. Goku and Vegeta are died, Goku is fighting with Pikuhan at the otherworld tournament when he should be with Gohan who isn't traning with Kaioshin but chilling on Earth with everyone alive and good. Goten and Trunks know how to use fusion and there is no Buu
Goku from DBE references lines from anime = It's canon to animeGT Gogeta references his lines from the movie.
Then why Movies aren't canon for DBS, several characters and moments are referenced in DBS that appeared only in DBZ fillers. Also Garlick jr movie with arc in anime and Cooler revenge are in Daizenshu timeline, when other movies aren't, so if VSBW consider movies as canon to Toei, then atleast these two movies and Garlick arc should be canon to manga and DBSIt's also objectively tied to the other films which have their own connections like Dead Zone with its Garlic Jr. arc. You guys gotta know that the east does not gaf about strict canon as much as the west.
Yeah, they are what-ifs. That's why I think they can be scaled to any DB media(manga, Toei and DBS) because they are what-ifs for a moment of time in DB. For example movie with Super 13, it's what-if A18 and 17 decided not to follow their programs and just killed DR. Gero to live normal lives, instead 13, 14 and 15 were activated and attacked Goku and co(which is shown in the movie itself). Also the Movies were being made at the same time as the Manga was being published
There are cool what ifs and scenarios they made since DB is pretty fond of using "alternative scenarios" (see Xenoverse or many if the older games)
Like they replaced SSJ with False SSJ (?) in the Slug Movie or they fit in the Broly Movie in the Cell Saga
They were just writing cool stuff up as they went along with it
That's not even a discussion Toriyama strictly says that the films are not part of his work lmaoThen why Movies aren't canon for DBS
It's not, and the contradictions to it doesn't mean to referring to it being media. It's more like his appearence in media
Again these films are objectively connected to one another, to pick and choose which one is canon or not is straight up double standardsso if VSBW consider movies as canon to Toei, then atleast these two movies and Garlick arc should be canon to manga and DBS
What do you mean?@Ednaxel2 if DBH is non canon then why are they rated 1-C
Garlic jr arc goes brrrrThey don't. Hell, even Daizenshuu explicitely notes Movies 3 and 7 are in parallel worlds. The Dragon Box for the movies also says they are "What-Ifs"
You just said the same thing again, what do you mean by this. Are you asking why they can to the canon timeline ratings?the DBH characters have a 1-C rating even tho DBH is non canon????
Can I reply to youCan you not reply to me in 3 different messages come tf on
He probably means why we use the same cosmological structures for itWhat do you mean?
Nope, got nuked. They only have self-Soul Manipulation nowAlright I wanna ask
Does Goku's Basic Ki Blast Vaporise souls or something ? I see soul manip and on the Ki Page
The manga and toei material and canon to the games, just not the other way aroundyeahhhh
NAHHHHHHHHHHCan I reply to you![]()
