Still the stupidest debate I've read this year, "Alien X will just stand there and think for 6 seconds". Ben not thinking but doing instead is one of his main attributes + he was very casually toying with everyone in that fight cause he knew they couldn't do anything to him, a bit of nigh-omniscience and deductive reasoning in the mix tells him that Maxwell is a threat that needs to be eliminated and that the book or device or whatever needs to be put on fire (or yanked away) ASAP, which btw happens with a thought.
