Akuma in Oni most likely wins this as he has more hax and variety while Jin doesn't have much going for him other than resistance to mind control which Akuma doesn't even have

Unless Akuma goes for the Shun Goku Satsu from the start, Tae-Jin should take this due to being overall more powerful (defeating six casual Island level characters with relative ease) vs Akuma's "at most" Island level.

Furthermore, his attacks have much more range than Akuma's, not to mention the fact that he has enough dexterity to break giant swords with his pinky toes.

Akuma isn't 'at most island lvl', you see, he one shoted the island in base form while holding back back in Alpha 2 when he debuted, so, you can imagine what he can do now, in BASE form.

That's not what his profile says. That feat you mentioned was calced at Small Island level.

Nevertheless, I seem to have made a mistake regarding which Akuma form was being used, but I still stand with Tae-Jin due to being an overall superior fighter (to the point that The King wanted to lock him up and bring him under his thrall).

well i am not sure but he can be intangible with teleport and raging demon move it's more of a last resort to the latter if he sees Jin worthy enough
