So as much as I hate to say this. Akira has no defense for Masks Square. Everything he does will be nullified and Piedmon's Reality Warping is supreme in Masks Square. Not only that But Piedmon can just teleport his swords inside Akira to kill him that way.

btw I'd like to say that I'm mad at Mugen. This fight breaks my heart.....

isn't endgame AKira immune to reality manipulation?
yaldabaoth had the power to freely reshape reality (he even offers a deal to you to do this, which you can accept and get the bad ending). Akira beat Yaldabaoth. it doesn't really make sense story wise if Yaldabaoth could just get rid of Akira through reality manipulation
then there's also the fact Akira didn't get erased from existence in accordance to the metaverse's rules when he diapeared from people's cognitions...well i mean, he was for a while but he sorta willed himself back into existence.
teleporting a sword inside him wouldn't work if he has a persona who is immune or repels physical damage. even if it somehow does enduring soul would allow him to come back to life.
