"Right," says Okane as he pulls out his notebook and started calculating the probability, and began assessing the powers of his teammates.
" In terms of the course of war…. It comes down to one move. For one to misread one move means their defeat... Like in a chess game, when the king is a corner, it's a checkmate. Elide is right, but maybe Griffith is planning on attacking Haven regardless of whether we go outside or not... It's likely an 80% chance, but that gets bumped up to a 100 since he now knows where we are. It's obvious for him to attack us, but if we were to go ahead and pursue him now, he'd probably be in Haven before we even get there. Given the abilities, someone like Drake can teleport, but only for a short distance. Elide, it's obvious, she is a brawler and releases massive attacks which would make Stealth pretty much a liability. Sofia can create swords and can react pretty quickly to things, but basing that on her overly trustable personality, she'd probably rely on others pretty easily. But that's only a 60% chance of that ever happening given her composure. Yes, Alex can become intangible, but I doubt she can do that forever, otherwise, she would've gone for Griffith already and never needed a team. Alex said that Asim can turn things into weapons, but I don't know the rest of his abilities, so he is a priority. But the most bizarre of all is Beongae... He has powers, I just know it, but I don't know what it is...

Basing all the variables given to me and the number of members in the group that we have...

It could only mean one thing..." Okane thinks to himself, which is clearly noticeable by him putting his pen under his chin, making tiny clicking noises.

"Again it's not like we were all protecting the haven before the other that left will most likely recover and our friend in the hospital will soon recover. Who wants to stay here to protect the Haven?" I say.
 
"You all have powers, correct?" Beongae said, turning to Elide, "You said they attacked in locations you were at after you left... That must be why..."

Beongae thought back to the person at Jinfeng's Tower.

"They thought I was one of you for a moment..." He said.
 
"Alright I remember now, we can start with any of the following the Northwest where strength is known to be quickly increased giants lived there in the past! We could start with the Southwest corner which had a large and dense population. If people were taken captive instead of killed, we could get more reinforcements there. It seems to be where Morgan was taken which supports that idea. The Northeast corner use to have the closest connection to Soteria before the Cedeists of Haven. Going there would likely us increase and master our abilities! And lastly, the Southeast corner was a place said to be blessed directly from Soteria, it was known to have various relics. Where do you all think we should go first?" I say.
 
"Honestly i think improving our powers is better, we can learn new tricks and so much more, Northeast should be the priority in my opinion, we have gotten our powers but did any of us mastered or maxed them out? We need to be better prepared when facing bigger threats, it sucks to get trashed by our enemies"

“As much as I want to save the captured people I agree with Elide. We aren’t strong enough to deal with our enemies yet and improving our abilities seems to be the best option to me.” Ales said after considering the options.

"For all we know, Griffith is already taking his move on us... Either we wait here or pursue him, nothing would change... The result remains the same...
The path you chose from Northeast to Northwest is good... But Griffith may have expected us to get stronger, which is a 60%... Even so, probably the best option we have now is to go out... If the citizens are stuck here and we're here to defend it, then Griffith would know for certain the location of the residents. So I suggest trying to lure him out to a faraway location where he'd assume the residents are, then we could try getting stronger by following the path you laid out... Once that is done, we could try setting the distraction up." says Okane to Drake as he turns to Elide "Elide, can you control your energy to make constructs? Like walls or houses?" he asks, showing the drawing to the group.

"Try making a wall and try to hold it for ten seconds," says Okane, suggesting Elide. "If you feel like you can't hold it for much much longer then stop, I'll count you down" says Okane as he brings a pocket watch and looked at it before glancing back at Elide
