Achilles (Epic Literature) revisions

Achilles' page contains abilities and feats that do not exist in the Iliad:

At least Wall level (Killed a lionesss and her cubs and carried the carcasses from the cliffs of Pholoe to Chiron's cave. Split a man's head in two. No one in the Trojan army could best Achilles in direct combat. Pushed the entire Trojan army, including Hector, back to the walls of Troy. Killed 10 Trojan soldiers in a fit of fury, one of which he cut his head off and it sailed off into an arc. Threw a spear through a bronze helmet and into a Trojan warrior's head.), possibly higher (Would have broke down the gates of Troy if Apollo hadn't intervened)
At least Superhuman (Outran horses, dogs, a centaur, and darts when he was 12. Chased after Apollo with the speed of a racehorse), possibly Subsonic (Jumps the distance of a spear-throw with the speed of an eagle. Golden Eagles can reach speeds of 200 mph)
At least Wall level (Resisted a wave of water that could uproot a tree. Asteropiaos, who is the grandson of a river god, was only able to scratch Achilles on his elbow, something even Hector couldn't do), possibly higher (Was dipped into the river Styx as a baby. His skin is impenetrable to steel. Said to be invulnerable on all parts of his body except his left foot. His shield is described as being impenetrable. Deflected boulders with his shield. Takes the force of two river gods and keeps on going.)

All sentences in bold describe feats and statements that come from the Achilleid, not the Iliad, the former is a Latin poem that was written several centuries after the second, it is not canon to Homer's epics and the Greek Myth.
The famous invulnerability of Achilles comes from the Achilleid, in the Iliad this story is not mentioned and Achilles was injured by a spear, which means that he is not invulnerable in the Homer texts.

So what I propose is either we indicate that Achilles' profile is composite or we remove the Achilleid's feats from the profile.

Also, Achilles has some feats that should be calculated, I think.

Agreed, we should either split the profiles (Illiad and Achilleid), or just purge the current one from anything that stems from outside the Illiad.

Imo the best choice would be split it into two keys, one for the Illaid and one for the Achilleid. But if that can't be done then we should probably convert it to the Achilleid since it considers the Illiad "canon" to itself and gives Achilles his more well known powers.

The curse of not many people reading myths/old literature in this site
Do you have the feats of the Iliad in English? This would be useful for the feats of Ajax, Diomedes and Hector (and also for the calculations of Achilles)

The problem is that the achilleid is a separate opera written centuries after the illiad. It's akin to merging other popular characters' original file with their appearance in later works that made use of them out of popularity and simply because they account or retell the original story.

To make a recent example, it would be like merging Lovecraft's works with Derleth's because he took his works and added his own spin to them, yet turning them into different things.

That doesn't dispute my points. The Achilleid still considers the Illiad canon to its story so we can lump it into an Achilleid profile or we can seperate it into two different keys. Either way I don't see a point in making two seperate profiles for Classical Achilles.

This definitely seems like the best solution imo
