Accelgor speed issue

Status
Not open for further replies.
Accelgor's speed is listed as Relativistic, while Jolteon's is listed as Relativistic+. In the games, Accelgor's speed stat is 145, which is 15 points higher than Jolteon's 130. Shouldn't Accelgor's speed at least be listed Relativistic+ because of this?

I do not know. You should ask Cal to comment here.

In-game speed stats arent used, otherwise a lot of pokemon would be Immeasureable in speed for having a higher speed stat that Arceus

@Gyro

In that case somebody should probably update the page.

Because any fully evolved Pokemon are capable of dodging the move Solar Beam, and Accelgor is faster/at least comparable to most fully evolved Pokemon

The calc itself shows two seperate fully evolved Pokemon dodging solar beam. It's happened in the anime as well, and iirc Empoleon has a 0.34c feat

so why does the solar beam dodge scale to every one of the fully evolved pokemon? or only, since other pokemon would be capable of replicating the gameplay feat?

It would be outliers for them as fully evolved Pokemon are far faster than non-fully evolved Pokemon. Plus afaik there's no cases in the anime/manga where a non-fully evolved Pokemon has dodged a light based attack.

Has anybody updated the page yet?

Unevolved Pokemon can dodge it just as often as evolved ones in gameplay, and why one evolved Pokemon feat scale to all of them?

Thank you. Can I close this thread then?
