Ok I'm back with this again and I can't figure it out, I definitely need input. So I created a thread to upgrade the The Reality Gauntlet and Freakshow because he seemingly removed the sun. However I later created another thread to downgrade it because I thought he could have just made a night vail across the sky.

But why should we assume he did that if not directly stated. So I got the episode and with link the time.

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x601hxq

At 32:40 Freakshow waves his hand across the sky and boom, instant night, stars in the sky and no sun.

At 37:30 Danny uses the gauntlet and reverses Freakshow's alterations to reality. At the end of said alterations the sky returns to normal and the sun literally appears in the sky.

Note: The Reality Gauntlet has three gems, Gem of Life creates life and animates inanimate objects. The Gem of Form allows can change one object into another. And lastly the Gem of Fantasy which makes your dreams reality. This means it wasn't an illusion, and that Freakshow wanted it like that. So that would possibly mean he used Reality Warping to remove the sun or just moved the sun and it became night.

I'm unsure which is why I need lots of input because moving the sun could be 4-C at the least. Or could this just be nothing?, Freakshow continuesly says the gauntlet can control all reality as well. Low 2-C Danny Phantom OvO (I was joking about the low 2-C by the way)

Option 1: Freakshow removed the sun, problem is their is light on the other side of the planet. However it's a cartoon so they possibly didn't pay attention to detail.

Option 2: He moved the sun to the other side of the planet, considering their was light on the other side of the planet, then he got the whole planet which means he moved it further away.

Thoughts?.

Looks good, but if the R.G. was also actually moving the sun, a calc could probably put that at drastically big results.

Even moving a bunch of planets can reach 4-C. Moving the Sun should make the former look like a cake walk.

Not sure if he moved it but he likely did since their is light on the other side of the planet and then Freakshow gets the rest of the world and their is no more light so yes it's possible he moved it by waving his hand, then moved it further away, and Danny makes it reappear.

I'm unsure really tho.

Based off of the moment in the video it does look like he "warped" the sky getting rid of it & replacing it with the sky he wanted, sun included and then with Danny undoing everything but you clearly see everything on the screen go back to normal, then the sun shines down, I'd believe it if he did replace the actual sun with a sky full of stars.

That moment you realize a cartoon for kids & young teens is more haxed up/powerful then some of your favorite anime/battle manga's. Secondary note though I watched a little further than the feat(s) in question & noticed despite Freakshow's blatant description of the gauntlets powers he seemed to overlook the "Memory Manipulation" while Danny on the other hand must have read the manual.

If there was still light on the other side of the planet, wouldn't it be more reasonable to assume that he simply rotated the Earth?

Then again, he might have moved the Sun at FTL speeds for all that I know. In which case the energy cannot be calculated, and we just tend to go by 4-C instead.

You can politely ask some calc group members to take a look at it via their message walls.

I was made aware of this thread after the OP asked me to evaluate a calculation under the premise if we treat is as an earth-flipping AP feat. I will for everyones conveneince repost my thoughts from the calc blog here.

Well if i am honest I dont think this qualifies as an AP feat - we dont see any visual of the earth flipping. During the animation of him flipping his hand across the screen we see the sun remains stationary and gets simply replaced with the night time sky.

Him actively stating he now has become the ringmaster of "reality" is another indicator which makes me think this is not a feat of him flipping earth but reality warping.

I will later watch the full episode to check whether there are any corresponding feats which fit the tone of it more being about "reality warping" or not - going by the title"reality trip" i think its likely.

I am sorry but as of now I dont think this qualifies.

Edit: Also another note - at the end of the movie at 39.08 where Danny has the gauntlet in his posession we see the sky clear again as its daytime. Its accompanied with Danny saying he "set everything back to the way it was before" while at the same time staring at the sky. Its another implication that this is a RW feat and not an AP one.

And yet a third edit:

At 37.40 we see the reverse I mentioned beforehand actively taking place. Just like before with the sun, the night sky gets simply replaced with the regular sky and the sun, without any form of movement, simply re-appears in the sky.

This is what makes me absolutely sure that this feat can not be quantified using our AP guage.

Reality Warping of this kind can't be put to AP...? Well that destroys this thread.

Reality warping can definitely be used to scale from, but we use the size of what is being affected rather than calculations to do so.

Maybe "Possibly 4-C via reality warping" would be acceptable?

Yeha, scaling to a tier is one thing. However given a numerical value is very sketchy and is not done usually.

Which is why I am heavily against the calculation in the blog.

Possibly 4-C is ok with me. No calcs given it's Reality Warping so that's all we can do.

Do any other characters scale from this by overpowering the full power of the gauntlet or something like that, or would it be too much of an outlier?

No one scales and no one out powers the gauntlet. Freakshow's normal stats don't scale, just his AP with the gauntlet.

Okay. That seems fine then.

Alright I'll update the Reality Gauntlet and Freakshow.
