Araki likes to pretend GER never happened, part 6 could have had a different ending if Giorno showed up.

Not even Araki likes to remember what's basically his biggest as*pull of the entire series just because he couldn't find a way to defeat Diavolo. King Crimson itself is probably the only other stand that can beat SP in a fair fight before end of Part 6 and later ones.
