He physically matched homer. That sword fight just showed a direct fight which was the best example that was also on YouTube. By the fact he swung at homer and took swings means he was matching his strength. He doesn't need to hurt homer directly. Cause scaling to his physical strength puts him there
 
There very likely are other feats like when the city has gotten in giant fights with each other, Apus interactions with snake, and other people who scale to snake. This was just the only good video I found on YouTube to link to it.
 
Everyone is kinda on par with each other. There are people who tend to be slightly above others. But all together. Everyone's basically even. At most we can say Ned, Marge, and Willie are shown to be the strongest. And even Ned had a time where he kinda was even with Homer.

The link itself does provide evidence. It may not be the best example. But any of the better examples are simply not on YouTube due to copyright issues. But the link should be fine tbh. The fact he physically matches Homer in the video should be enough
