So Batman's page lists that he has a smoke bomb, which is actually a mistake. Basically i saw the scene where he uses an explosive to blow open a gas canister and mistook it as him using a smoke bomb, so an oopsie on my part
Batman should get smoke bombs removed from his profile and also have a sticky bomb gun included, as that's supposedly what fires his explosives as supported by merchandise

It's definitely an explosive, the smoke is from the fire extinguisher. It's a very common trope in fiction to shoot at a fire extinguisher to cover the entire area for maximum reduction of visibility. A neat trick in the Arkham games too.
