Super Sonic actually scales far above 31 Gigatons, since the feat was done by a quill from Base Sonic, and Super Sonic is a lot stronger.

Super Sonic was effortlessly stomping the Death Egg Robot, that was in turn stomping Sonic in base form

True, but he's unquantifiably stronger, so he'd just massively upscale to an unknown value

Chopper does have some amps to but its nothing like the amp from super sonic. Sonic also being able to fly provides a advantage since chopper lacks alot of ranged options. Perhaps he can use weak point to see super sonic is on a time limit and try to stall I suppose. But more times than not id say sonic takes this

True. I think in the second movie only powered down because he didn't want it anymore instead of it powering down abruptly.
