A question about Shinnok's amulet

Hi, I was wondering how the power bestowal of the amulet works.

Could the amulet allow a part of the user's power to be donated to another?

Dark Raiden gained the ability to disintegrate people with his lightning blades for example, something he never had before.

And what about Raiden's? Does he have to merge to give powers? Or could he just donate a small portion without having to do it?

He doesn't need to merge to bestow power. Raiden only merged since he needed to fuse his soul and sacrifice his power to Liu, making him a god.

And yes he can just give small portions of his power without merging
