A Message to the Struggling Members of the Community

I agree that this thread is bringing out the better parts of the community, and that we have to try to face our problems in order for things to get better.

My apologies for not being of much help when it comes to emotional issues. I am autistic after all, so I am not well suited for it.

However, given that we are discussing sensitive issues, we have to be careful so the discussion does not get out of hand.

Basically my thoughts. 'Heartwarming' moment it may be, trolls and far worse will go through nigh anything to dig up dirt. It would be sadly prudent to not reveal such things in online communities.

Edit: this is assuming an earlier quote should be taken literally; said comment may be simply a metaphor/self insult. I try to keep an open mind and not make assumptions.

But jokes aside, it's true.

It was a great initiative from Ven, and also really sweet of the community as a whole to share all these kind words and thoughts with everyone.

So once again, my sincerest thank you to everyone in this thread.

You are the best. ^_^

The moment it does they get banned and removed.

Whoever comes in here and disturbs should be banned permanently.

I also have a smell case of Aspergers which affects my social skills, but alas, here I am.

I can relate to Antvasima,Seed and Gargoyle for I also have my personality issues(Aspergers).

It's sad what people have to go through in life. But the fact that there will always be those people willing to help those who can't on their own,is the greatest blessing on this earth that I have ever perceived and always will be.

Agreed. Perhaps it would be best to close this thread while it is still manageable, and has not gone out of control yet? People here have been nice enough so far, whereas others reading it might use the information for bad purposes.

I do agree with this thread but we shouldn't go to the extreme and spill our beans to every user about our problems. Some things are best kept to yourselves and shared with family, real life friends and psychologists.

What do you guys think?

Even though I enjoyed having some nice talks with people and trying to make them feel better, I'm fine with you closing this for your reasons @Ant.

For good memories' sake and eventually nostalgia value, I agree with Antvasima on closing this as it is right now.

Okay. I will do so for security reasons. I hope that nobody is offended by this action. You can still chat in private if you wish.
