So.... as you guys know, this year i had so many issues in this site recently, from a vs debates, franchises problem, frustration to find an opponents for certain characters, and the lack of any supporters on my fave verse, and with the current issue i encounter in GBF thread, i'm in stress in frustration for many times, i was thinking and then i'm come in conclusion: What i'm feared becomes true....i'm starting losing my interest to VSBW

Listen, i'm not gonna leave or retire because i can planning my schedule between this wiki and IRL to balancing it, howevee with how many issues i encounter, i'm starting to losing my interest which i don't want too.....

What should i do guys? I don't want to leave

Hmm, idk. Make less vs threads but participate in more, and only for characters and verses you are really interested in. Spend more time in fun and games and discussion threads. Also, create new profiles.

Burn out is a real thing. You only need to take a rest, you could leave for a while to cool down and then come back. And like Nuke said, spend more time in Fun and Game board or creates profiles would be a good idea too

What Magi said. There's a reason I haven't written any lore fueled vs threads in a while. Just dial it back and relax a bit, hang out around the friendlier side of the wiki like I am. Try to unwind with more of the fun stuff and hang out with people in the community who like you.

I mean, even i'm participate i'm not that good in debating, and if i do it need my hard thinking to do it. As for that if the characters and verses i really interested in get throw to like a verses that i don't care for, i'm losing interest on that match

New profiles.....mobile sucks and my pc are not that great anymore

Like Magi said you could take a break. I was personally feeling like that in 2017 and a good break from the Wiki was what I needed. When I came back I felt way better about the Wiki and my interest increased. And if you don't wanna take a break entirely there's simply getting involved in less Vs Threads and CRTs, and more F&Gs and General Discussion Boards.

Like HST suggested, I recommend simply taking a break if you feel that you are losing interest. You also could just get less involved in versus threads if you are getting stressed.

So....i really depressed now after what happen in GBF thread, worse it all i ended my friendship with First Witch/Witchy there....ironic since i'm fine earlier until i saw his post which turn me out drastically...

GBF thread?

If you're losing interest in the vs battle wiki, just take a break and chill out from it, you make so many matches and post so often I'm surprised you didn't feel burnt out before

Take a break, heck, have someone Ban you for a week or so and come back refreshed

Vel, I'm having similar issues. I honestly think you just need to take short breaks. Long breaks usually result in worsening the lost of interest, at least from my own experience.

I recommend staying clear from potentially heated debates like versus threads and the like. Also, take short breaks, like weekends off or Monday through Wednesday.

Take a break if you feel burnt out. Or, if you want to stay on the site, take a step back and chat to some people. Try out something new like a tournament, battle royale or maybe just find something you like in fun and games. At the end of the day, you'll know what's best for yourself.

I tried something new but it always ended dying too soon....i"m tired bumping you know...worse of all whenever my matches bumped over and over yet no one continuing or start always frustrated me a little...and a little...

You can just rest for a while, ya know. You can go on another hobbies like games and cartoons and stuff. Take a break, at least for few days. And just do not bump the thread you don't want. I do that all the time.

I won't repeat what others said, but if you really start loosing interest then... don't force it.

You can take a break, but if the break doesn't get back your interest then, well, there's no reason to try and get back to something you don't enjoy.

If you have friends that you want to keep "hanging out" with, then that on it's own will probably rekindle your interest, but you could probably invite them to a discord group and be just as well of with them, and there are a thousand things that you may like better.

I'd be anything but happy if you left, but there's no reason why you have to tie yourself down to here if you find yourself not enjoying it anymore.

I haven't been motivated much lately myself. Try to talk with friends in a casual manner more and take your focus off of the stuff where heated debates can happen. That's what I would advise

So guys, i need some tips and advice. No, not vsbw-related but rather a IRL relation.

Yesterday was pretty whack, so yesterday i just done a payment for registering myself to a university, but when i got the code from payment proof and goes registering, it doesn't work, and i realize i was using a wrong number, so pretty much i back and forth from cafe to bank just for correcting it, still not work, so on i back to the bank for the last time to cancelling the payment, really stressed i"m out from the bank and walking to my home which pretty far, thankfully i got a call and they said they cancelled it, bad part was the money and re-payment, the money i already pay will be back after two weeks, and the registering will closed on august 20, and so a re-payment are needed, but i don't have money that much for re-payment.

And today i went to my school, asking for help for take a money from there, they will help but hey said i need to ask my parents about this, problem is....i don't want including my parents to this messes, this is my fault and i will fix it by myself, even it cause me so anxious and hurting myself physically, i just want my parents always happy in their old ages

So what the tips and thing i need to fix this problem? Of course not including my parents.

Well usually you can register later but you will have to pay additionally, worst case scenario but salvageable.

But since you are forced to wait, I can't really think of anything that would help besides going directly to the university's student's help center thing and tell them about the situation and ask for their advice directly.

That the other problem, the university i aim are in different province, so i can't talk to them directly other than via phone call

Vel@

Do like me; take 5 days break, from monday to friday, relax & do your RL stuff, and then get back in weekend. Repeat.

Well that's better than nothing. Try calling them and see what they have to say, it's probably not the first time something like this has happened.

You're late, i'm fine now but i take your advice

@Ogun Maybe i can call them again

Vel@ I'm always late, but so I've more to say.

I graduated from High-School the last month, I'm currently taking vacations with my dad in colombia. Great and all that, but once the two months are over, I will have to choose an university. Either here, with my father, or in venezuela, with my mother.

I know is not same thing as you, but I can relate with the stress of enter university, and eventually be an adult part of society.

Yeah, the anxiety is real here man lel, especially finding a person who can give me a money for re-payment
