Akuma may not be the most grab-oriented fighter, but it eventually is part of his kit. There's also Bone-crusher-axe-kick and specially Zugaihasatsu, very IC and using his LS a lot, so even if this doesn't immediately end Kazuya, it'll toll him down and actually rather quickly
I'm leaning towards Akuma High-mid diff, but i'll obviously wait for Kazuya inputs for now

1) Kazuya is 7-A at over 900 megatons not 6-C, so where you pulled that from? Look at the profile again

2) Tekken is uber outdated stat wise and they still need CRTs to be done in the future, so dont make matches with them at the moment

3) Even if its their version of the character, Kazuya fought Akuma in the 7th game twice and by his words pointed he wont rest until he ends Kazuya as per his promise made

In the 8th game he isnt around, also most of his kit is nothing new, even the newer things given in next games dont matter much, as they aint a big game changer

This Akuma is the one from the SF continuity
The Akuma from the Tekken continuity would be somewhat from SF 4 and the SF one is already stronger and wiser than there...but if Tekken and SF were mutually canon than this fight would be from the H6-A's since Tekken's Shin Akuma scale to Super or True Devil Kazuya...

1- I went with CloverDragon's comment in the blog post and did not pay attention to KLOL's. Still, the match would be ok because 7,55x diff is something Kazuya's powers are able to diminish

2-Welp i didn't know about this, so i'll be letting this necro and trying again later. If you can, please remind to tell me whenever Tekken is matchable. Seen some videos on the lore and am quite interested in matchmaking them

It still doesnt change that Tekken Akuma has similarities to the canon one expect for abilities gained in later games, which most dont change much, Kazuya has experience facing Akuma, the canon one isnt that significantly different in powers

Also True Devil is a Tekken 8 thing, what Akuma faced is Super Devil which he lost to compared to Ascended Heihachi knocking him out

I will tell you now, if the future changes in stats are passing, SF wont have matches with them anymore, due to the gap in power Tekken receives
