I don't think Rodan can do much against Thor, the battle would basically be Thor vs Fire Dragon 2 but with a bigger bird.
Rodan's only advantage is his higher AP. Thor has an advantage in LS, ranged attacks, heat and radiation resistance, can use Mjölnir like he did against the dragon, etc.
