I agree, in the case of Anakin he's not a normal Padawan by any means. Even in his brief duel with Dooku in Episode II he performed better than his master. However I would consider asking since the Jedi Order in the Clone Wars have 10,000 members and have similar training regiments and...
Fair enough on Bane, but why shouldn't Plagueis scale to Sidious if Vaylin is gonna be scaled to Vitiate? Granted Vaylin is the daughter of Vitiate/Valkorian... but given Plagueis taught Palpatine almost everything he knew, shouldn't it be reasonable that Plagueis should be 4-B? Even in the...
From my understanding, it's mainly ROTS that makes Anakin stronger than Obi-Wan but also during the duel on Mustafar (which I believe it's referenced on Obi-Wan Kenobi's profile) that Anakin was emotionally hindered which helped Kenobi in his duel (as well as knowing Skywalker's fighting style...
I understand the concerns, it's just only a few select people that should get the 4-B tier.
IMO:
Solar System:
Yoda
Sidious
Plagueis
Vitiate
Windu (aamped via Vaapad)
Hero of Tython
Revan
Arcann
Star tier:
Dooku
Windu (Normally)
Anakin Skywalker (by the time of ROTS/Darth Vader...
Which is fair, since all Sith Apprentices under the Rule of Two are meant to become masters eventually otherwise all those years of training would be useless, and the Rule of Two would've died right after Zannah's demise.
In the case of Sidious, he only used Maul, Ventress, Dooku, and Savage...
Well, Sidious is the Dark side incarnate and an Avatar of the Dark side lol. I'd be surprised if any apprentice could actually beat him... unless that apprentice was a Skywalker 0-0.
Dooku was only a Sith apprentice for 10 years, the rest of his life he was a Jedi. Compared to Sidious' thirty plus years when Plagueis found Palpatine on Naboo when the latter was 17.
Vader was a broken man, stated by Sidious himself. Vader's psychological problems hindered his ascension plus...
Plagueis is more consistent than Ragnos is imo. At least Plagueis has the foundation and scaling of the Rule of Two to refer back too, plus he was considered the greatest and most powerful Sith Lord before he encountered Palpatine (and we know where that goes lol).
For Ragnos, I'm more than...
There's no reason to suggest that Plagueis isn't 4-B, to do so would contradict the entire purpose of the entire Rule of Two in the first place.
More than likely Ragnos won't be offically 4-B, he'll likely be 'Star level, possibly 4-B' much in the same way as Tenebrous.
Then why were you questioning about Plageuis being 4-B?
The point for Vitiate was the parallel between him and Sidious' uprising from Sith Masters who saw a powerful connection to the Dark side. A 13 year old Pureblood Sith being recognized for his immense power by the most powerful Sith Lord...
Plagueis and Sidious are a part of the Rule of Two scaling, which means that the Apprentice would have to scale to the Master. Meaning that if Sidious is at the 4-B tier, and the culmination of Bane's Order, then logically Plagueis should scale to 4-B as well since he taught Palpatine almost...
Plagueis collapsed an entire cave ceiling on top of Tenebrous when they trying to escape a previous explosion when mining for Cortosis before he killed him by snapping his neck. I believe it's in the first pages of chapter of the Darth Plagueis novel.
Honestly that speaks more the Emperor's power than it does Murr's, since Vader didn't know the full capacity of Sidious' strength in comparison to Murr's talisman. Vader assumed it would be enough, though the likely case would be that it would backfire on Vader and force Sidious to his...
There isn't much to say on Brakiss, not that he's weak as he dueled with Luke Skywalker twice in combat but he's used his Force power in more manipulative ways.
Hm, I don't see it as off-topic. If Vitiate and Sidous are gonna be changed from their previous tier, then anyone associated with their power will also be affected too. Sidious' power reflects the Rule of Two era, Prequel era, and Clone Wars era. Vititate's power reflects the Old Republic era...
Thanks!
True, and that's fair in regards to Dooku.
I think that scaling I made is probably the best for what the Star Wars page could follow on for future reference... Lol, patting myself on the shoulder much? X'D.
Oh, and the average Jedi Kight and/or Master should scale to the...
The Old Republic era isn't really that much different from the Prequel era, they just have more access to ancient artifacts and such.
The average Jedi/Sith can still scale to Multi-Continent, anyone on the Old Republic Council can scale, possibly, to Planet tier. Satele Shan would be the only...
Hence why I didn't include him ;p. Techincally any of the Skywalker's are at the Celestial level, given enough time and training, as Luke himself was able to harm Abeloth.
Still, he is at Dooku and Windu's level, who are still close to Yoda and Sidious. Though the argument stands between Dooku and Yoda is that the Grandmaster held back, which he did.
Vader's death was more in line with the lightning as Sheev did design that failure into the suit specifically, so...
Which is why I considered the question of whether or not Vaapad should be taken account during the fight on Windu's behalf. As Vaapad channels the inner darkness within Windu, Mace also had a superconducting loop within Sidious forming a complete circle of power for Windu to manifest.
In the...
True, but it was because of that chain that Bane started with the Rule of Two that caused Palpatine to be the strongest of all time. Even then, Plagueis could've been the strongest if he properly learned the Midi-Chlorian Manipulation.
But the point is that Palpatine still invoked the Rule of...
Technically Vader could even get the Solar System tier since he is still part of the Rule of Two, and thus, should scale to Sidious. At the very least, he gets the Planet tier scaling for certain because Vader is stronger than Bane.
But we have to consider how much Sidious was holding back, given the nature of Vaapad and Palpatine's own knowledge of it, I would too agree that he was holding back but it reminds me of the 'Vader being at 80% of Sidious' power' quote which is not a bad comparison either way lol. Essentially...
I imagine most of the Jedi Council should scale to Bane's feat, since they should be the strongest of the Jedi Order par the Grandmaster. Dooku was already admitted by Yoda to be the greatest of the Jedi, and also their greatest failure. Mace has also been confirmed to be the second strongest in...
Ah damn, I was hoping that Count Dooku and Anakin Skywalker could take the mantle of Planet tier lol, but alas we'll have to wait until further evidence.... wait, didn't Darth Bane move a planet or a moon of Onderon? If so, then Anakin and Dooku should scale to that same feat as well.
But where does that leave the likes of Count Dooku, Exar Kun, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Nihilus, Darth Plageuis, Darth Bane, Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Galen Marek/Starkiller, etc.?
True, and it's important to keep in mind that much like fire in the series, lightning is conducted from within the body as well as from an outside source.
Agreed, so essentially we seem to agree that Plageuis and TPM Palpatine are at 5-C (scaling from Vitiate Post-Ritual) to possible 5-B (Small Planet since for the next thirteen years Palpatine is Supreme Chancellor and marked from the numerous statements from ROTS that Sidious is the strongest...
Taken from the plot summary of the novel from Wookiepedia, forgot to mention that part. In the novel and audiobook, Plagueis only does the midi-chlorian attempt for a short time with his master then it cuts to Plageuis trying to figure a way out.
Plagueis was not messing around with Midichlorians when his master was dying. He was getting his butt out of that cave as fast as he could and nothing else. Tenebrous was up to something though (most likely Essence Transfer) and slipped into Plagueis's body. But then he had visions of Plagueis...
Excellent point, however we do know that for the next ten years before the Clone Wars Palpatine was Supreme Chancellor, then continued to be Supreme Chancellor for the next three years of the war itself. Plus he used a technique that hid his presence in the Dark side from the Jedi. So his power...
