Beyond got recently accepted as 1-A and the profile has now been created.
This then means that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Jorge Joestar) now peaks at 1-A
The thread where 1-A Beyond was accepted is here
I've made a sandbox for Beyond here. It's basically finished, just need to add the 'Notable attacks/techniques' section.
Type 4 acausality also got nerfed recently and no longer inherently grants resistance to causality manipulation too. Type 5 is only type that 100% guarantees resistance to causality now.
In regards to RTZ, you would additionally need a resistance to power nullification as well as causality...
Even in those scans, it is constantly reiterated that fate cannot be changed no matter what, with Pucci seemingly being the only exception. That was what why Pucci achieved Heaven, for everybody to know and face their own fate. But Pucci seemingly 'altering' fate is rendered moot by the fact...
Not sure if this a fault on my end but that scan doesn't work for me, what does it say?
In any case, here's the scan of the universe reset page saying that the changing of destiny was already predestined
And here's the scan where Emporio says Pucci lost to fate
Also this. DB also saying in a black box that Araki himself wrote the story of EoH is false too. Hiroshi Matasuyama and Noriaki Niino actually wrote the vast majority of the story.
Like don't get me wrong, Joker still beats Giorno, but if they say something that is completely false, I'm going to point it out lol, especially something as egregious as that
Just re-watched the fight and noticed a black box which said:
"Fate is not unbeatable in JoJo. It has been altered by abilities like Soft and Wet Go Beyond and Made in Heaven. Almighty magic achieves a similar effect"
The research for Giorno just went from 'okay ig' to 'complete dogshit'
Go...
that's wrong though? The only two other pieces of media GER lost in was Eyes of Heaven and Jorge Joestar.
Eyes of Heaven has already been discussed here
Jorge Joestar I'd argue doesn't even count because Giorno wanted to be Dio and that they were working together the entire time. Also Dio had...
Novel GER has way more shit than canon GER. He only 'lost' to Dio because he actually wanted to become Dio.
Also Dio had a 1-A transcendental God-Author on his side
That fight was fine but all of it felt a bit... strange. Both sides analysis felt a bit undercooked. The animation was, while visually fine, felt a bit stiff and choppy. The battle also didn't last for as long as it perhaps should of. The final clash between GER and Sinful Shell also felt it...
During the fight against Diavolo, GER was capable of affecting, restoring and ultimately nullifying King Crimson's Time erasure, all whilst time was still erased. During King Crimson’s Time erasure, time, space, foes, their attacks and even the world and existence itself are completely erased...
Within Diavolo's Time Erasure, all processes and events that would have occurred are erased and obliterated, with only the results remaining afterwards. i.e. causality itself is completely screwed during time erasure. Death Battle could then use this to say that resistance to causality manip...
smh only Kars can do that
I forgot to mention Giorno's final and most legit win condition. Giorno became Dio in the Jorge Joestar light novel. As JJ had official artwork drawn by Araki and was endorsed by him, the light novel is 100000% canon. Since Giorno is now his own father and is...
Anyway the blog was pretty fair to both Giorno and Joker.
Whether Death Battle follows that same logic and outcome is a different question entirely though
Yeah the stand you're thinking of is Wonder of U where the act of 'pursuing' him causes 'calamity' to befall you. Where 'pursuing' ranges from direct attacks to merely having the intention to investigate him.
If you think Stardust Shooters is legit then in that game GER can return an opponent's...
oh yeah, I personally place them in the Tier 8 range as that is most consistent. I'm just saying that these high end feats and statements do exist in case DB or anyone else wanted to be generous and high ball them or something.
There's actually quite a few stuff that get him that high. From the top of my head:
Statements of Kiryu being able to hit with the force of a warhead when talking about his agent style
RGG Online states that Saejima is able to shake the earth itself with his punches, with the line after...
No problem
(I have spent way too long researching this guy. Diving into the depths of Japan-exclusive mobile crappy gacha games looking for scans does something to you)
Both Giorno and GER were effected by Time erasure and were thus no longer conscious (or even existing) within it. Yet, RTZ kicked in anyways, GER does not have to be aware for RTZ to take effect.
We don't even know if GER still exists by the time part 6 comes around since the arrow fell out of...
Wait a sec. I'm assuming that's Giorno's palace and that's Shadow Giorno. If Joker beats him, and Giorno suffers organ shutdown in the real world (been a while since i played P5 so i think that's what happens, correct me if im wrong though), shouldn't the real Giorno be able to recover from...
I understand that GER powers can be vague, hell the guy showed up for 3 chapters then pissed off never to be seen again. But it's because of that we need to look into all sorts of sources so that we can accurately detail wtf this stand can actually do. I do not believe it's pulling a power out...
Both the guidebooks that GER appears in have something to say about GER negating abilities, with JoJo-agogo stating that GER has the ability to 'reduce all power to zero' (alongside 'will') and JoJoveller stating that GER negated all of King Crimson's abilities. Unlike with resetting will to...
Allow me to show you the Mythical High 1-C GER scale:
Within the Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe: Short Story Collection, there are two notable short stories that speak about the JoJo cosmology, in that it operates based on the 10 or more dimensions supposed by Superstring theory as well M-Theory that...
I don't really think so as Beyond never directly fights for them, only manipulating stuff behind the scenes to help them win.
I think we should just put a link to Beyond's profile on their profiles when explaining the plot manip, fate manip, etc. they have have and leave it at that.
Speaking...
Yeah Pucci just straight up didn't know that Giorno existed. In fact, the sons of Dio were quite literally fated to be drawn to Pucci and follow him, that's how Pucci met 3 of Dio's sons. But Giorno just... didn't show up. Even Giorno's bio in part 6 points this out, saying he was a son of Dio...
I think it depends. RTZ is stated to be the 'ultimate', 'supreme' and 'godlike' ability in JoJo's, with statistics that cannot measured by the stands stats (which go up to infinity) nor can be compared to any other stand, with JoJoagogo even calling it the ultimate ability that reduces...
