I have a few proposals for changes to Ryu Hayabusa.
The Blade of The Archfiend
The stat page for Ryu shows his stats separated between "base form," "with ninpo," and "with True Dragon Sword/Dark Dragon Blade."
"True Dragon Sword/Dark Dragon Blade" should also include the Blade of the...
I questioned the validity of the country buster scaling as FW Zilla doesn't have any feats, but that's probably better left for another thread if there are any disagreements.
EDIT: Wait, that was RoE Zilla that sparked the disagreements, not FW. Yeah, FW Zilla is featless.
I talked about this in my OP. The only thing under standard equipment was the visor from the hummingbird episode, which wasn't standard equipment. It was a one-time device used for exactly one scene and then never seen or mentioned again. The description was also wrong. It didn't let him see...
Right now, the attack potency description says "City level (Able to fight monsters capable of hurting himself; physical strikes have hurt monsters more durable than himself)"
I'd change the first sentence to a description of the beam clash scene and link to the post I just made.
So something...
A little late, but I got around to making the post. It's my understanding that we still have until the 14th to make these, right?
https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:ZillaJrKaijuKing/Godzilla:_The_Series_and_Nuclear_Explosion-Induced_Storms
It's not a calculation. I'm just comparing the effects of real life nukes that produced lightning and rain clouds to the cartoon's thunderstorm feat which had much greater effects. Should I make a separate post for it for linking purposes, or is the link I posted in my opening post with a...
I explained this above already. The thunderstorm feat would be greater than the 10.4 megaton Ivy Mike.
As for IDW Godzilla and Zilla, it's probably better to leave that discussion for another thread.
That mountain-busting explosion would have been only City to Mountain Level, not Country Level but more consistent with Mothra's explosion posted above. Magita "destroying the world" doesn't necessarily mean wiping out life in a single strike. Real life nukes could wipe out life as we know it...
It failed to produce its life-wiping explosion, though, didn't it? This wasn't some specially designed weapon striking Magita. It was just the ship crashing down on her. Wouldn't we first have to decide whether or not the Godzilla/Battra clash was more than an outlier before assuming that...
I'd be interested in seeing a calc for that Mothra explosion. That one looks closer to the kinds of explosions we see throughout Rulers of Earth. The Cryog ship didn't look like it was properly primed for its life-wiping explosion when it crashed, though, so I'm not sure that one was truly...
I wasn't sure about the storm feat for the animated series because it's now the only one of the notable feats we can sort of quantify. The volcanic eruption could still be another city level feat, but it's more vague.
IDW Godzilla and Battra's country level beam clash I believe is an outlier...
For Zilla Jr./GTS Godzilla, the thunderstorm feat should still justify a City Level rating via the nuke-lightning comparison if it's acceptable and not too much of an outlier.
For IDW Godzilla/Zilla, if the Godzilla/Battra beam clash is deemed an outlier, I remember Godzilla getting hit by a...
Both of those calcs are based on measurements I made, and my measurements were wrong, so the calcs are wrong by extension. The volcano feat is effectively unusable for durability, too.
For the volcanic eruptio, the calc bases the size of the volcano mouth on the height of the building in the...
Priority: 2 (affects tier of 1-4 characters)
Verse: Godzilla
Description: Some of the calculations for Godzilla: The Series are based on incorrect values of mine and should be reviewed.
https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Gallavant/Godzilla_The_Series_-_Volcanic_Eruptio...
I was browsing the page for Godzilla: The Series' Godzilla and noticed that some of the calculations are based on old values I calculated a long time ago, which I've since realized are wrong. In particular, the calculations for the volcanic eruption feat and the thunderstorm feat are...
Zilla is at least as intelligent as Blue, and Blue couldn't defeat Indoraptor alone. Indoraptor fell to its death, too. Zilla has way too many advantages even downscaled to Blue's size.
EDIT: Oh, jeez, I didn't realize the comment I quoted was a two-year bump. This thread should probably be...
I forgot about this thread. Since I made those comments, I discovered that the size advantage for Legendary Godzilla isn't as big as it seems.
For one, Zilla Jr. was stated to weigh 60,000 metric tons in one of the last episodes of the series. That makes him two-thirds Legendary Godzilla's...
The fight takes place on Monster Island. As for the lifting feat, I think Showa Godzilla did flip a monster about 80,000 tons (heavier than Zilla Jr.) over his shoulder at one point in a crossover with Zone Fighter.
In an early episode of Godzilla The Series, Zilla Jr. swims in circles and creates a huge whirlpool to raise sunken ships.
https://youtu.be/Boi8EH2iArs?t=160
That feat would have involved him displacing possibly hundreds of millions of metric tons of water, but it isn't a direct lifting or...
Zilla Jr. has better strength feats and can dodge missiles which are faster than fighter jets. Zilla Jr. is himself heavier than Showa King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla.
I don't know. Scaling seems to be an issue with that comic, from what I've been told. I'm not even sure the method I used for that Mountain-Island level calc is accurate anymore.
The core of the sun is 15 million degrees C and has a pressure of 25 quadrillion pascals. That's a lot more than the temperature and pressure that, for example, Legendary Godzilla would have taken at his distance from the Castle Bravo hydrogen bomb, yet he's listed as City Level for that feat.
