The things listed in his Post-Retcon Powers key absolutely are, yes.
I mean, even with John’s resistances, he shouldn’t resist everything Thanos can do with the IG (unless it’s done through those aforementioned things)
Problem with this is.
John’s teleportation via the Retcon Powers should basically counter sealing altogether (unless it’s on the level of Caliborn’s juju which can overwrite powers and literally make it so you cannot escape)
John has resistances to Concept Manipulation (Type 1) Space-Time...
It’s 1-A in potency, as the Retcon Powers can affect the narrative of Homestuck (he also resists Lord English’s passives, who is 1 transcendence above baseline)
If it weren’t 1-A in potency, I think Thanos would stomp due to basic magic resistance (which includes plot manipulation)
I’m going to throw this out here really quick before people maybe start asking.
No, John does not start with his Retcon Powers right off the bat, he would probably start with his God Tier abilities (his wind powers and all that). Although maybe he will try to use them after being sealed, which...
I looked over the profiles, and I don't think it'll be a stomp? I doubt this is going to end well either way.
Both are Low 1-A (John Egbert with his Retcon Powers VS Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet)
Both are in character and speed is equalized
Who wins?
John Egbert:
Thanos:
Inconclusive:
I don’t really see him coming back at all, but perhaps they just might? (As Nightmare Geese anyway). I personally don’t want him to come back though, as great of a villain as he is.
I have watched the Fatal Fury OVAS and The Motion Picture recently, due to all the hype around City of Wolves (and I can’t get enough of this franchise).
I loved all three despite the flaws (Legend of the Hungry Wolf was especially flawed but still decent.) Perhaps at some point there could be...
Alright, I'm gonna get back to work on that Medaka sandbox I was working on a while back. It's just been hard since I haven't had the motivation to do it in a bit.
I heavily agree with this. And Terry (just from looking at both of their intelligence) just seems more impressive over all. I’ll take that as a vote then.
Can someone please delete this or switch it over to a discussion? I made the match as an article instead of a discussion (not sure if it matters, but it was unintentional on my part)
Yeah I’m making a match that’s possible in Fatal Fury Special. But I’m curious to see how it could actually play out because that game is not canon.
Both are in character and speed is unequalized (will change it if I need to, but the speed gap should be nonexistent from what I can tell)
Who...
