  • I have many responsibilities on this site, and this means I only wear each hat for as long as is necessary. Therefore, you may leave CRT/calc eval/whatever requests, and I will try to get to it, but understand that my time is limited and I'm normally already tapped for some wiki policy matter or maintaining the wiki management threads or handling account issues for users who never seem to get things right. Low priority requests include tiershit, particularly active verses, and discussions with a lot of active staff voices already present. I'm not saying "no" but I probably won't get to them. If I don't reply, smart money says it won't be me to get to it. Sorry.

    did he have a parachute? it's been a long ass time since I saw these movies, and truthfully, so little made sense that I have trouble remembering shit. If he had one, that would lead to reasonable doubt in my interpretation, I think.

    Wesker found the bomb in the parachute section of plane

    Pls watch video (Wesker survives) which is under calc. Especially 0:45. It shows that a figure with an open parachute is flying in the sky after explosion (Wesker)

    I did watch that, actually. Wesker finding the bomb in a particular spot doesn't mean he had the thing (especially given like. he can just survive the drop), he wasn't looking for a parachute but rather looking for the bomb, which brings us to the second claim- the actual video is vague enough that I was asking if this was confirmed somewhere, is all. Like the next movie starts immediately after this one iirc, so if he was walking away from a parachute or whatever later on, I'd accept that shit instantly. Regardless. I'll think about it.

I'm trying to get a rpg on the wiki and was wondering how strictly defined and how much lore a ttrpg has for it to make sense to powerscale.     The Strength Virtue in the Games For Freaks add-on lets you increase your category by +2 so physically exorcists would go all the way to Category 7 (briefly). Categories scale exponentially because size and speed increase for both meaning KE goes very high. There's also the Ardence whose powers are almost entirely wide-scale destruction- unclear which of it scales to what since some seems like ED, but still.

    Powers aside, the Ogre Sin mentions throwing Exorcists through walls as one of its basic attacks so that'd theoretically scale to any of them. Otherwise I think you're a 9-B glass cannon with up to tier 8 weapons and tier 7 powers but it's weird.

    Something I'm unsure about is if I should have a key for each category, given that five/seven keys are a bit unwieldy.

    That's not really what's in contention. That he was using it at all was the issue before, and he was banned for it- I agreed with the ban in the first place. What's in contention is whether he deliberately changed what the translations said to suit his argument.

    Not sure if it's the right place to ask but I was wondering if we can index a feat from the short stories of a LN series.

    Short stories are perfectly canon. But the problem is their isn't any official translation available for it unlike the LN. Although there's a Russian fan translation which is good quality in my opinion.

    So my question is, can we use the Russian fan translation if the text is translated by wiki translators?

    Certainly the wrong place, I dunno why I've been asked about translation stuff so much recently. Of all the staff, I probably interface with anime stuff the least, I have very little relevant knowledge. I know that we do prefer primary sources in cases like this, though, so while I'd defer to the opinion of the translation staff, it'd be my take that we'd prefer the wiki translators to just work on the original version, rather than the original version first filtered into Russian. Still, I'd ask the translation helpers or some other knowledgeable member, such as Agnaa.

    To answer, it doesn't provide anything. Only if the concept in question is not type 1, it becomes difficult to destroy the concept by destroying object of concept.

    It certainly had a rough start, but once all the evidence was properly presented, I haven't had anyone actually disagree. I did a deep dive on gathering evidence for updating the scaling for the Isekai Maou verse awhile back, so I've got everything prepared to make more CRTs after this, I just can't move forward until I get the cosmology accepted. No problem if it isn't for you, but please let me know if you do decide to chime in on it.

    And if it counts for anything, tomorrow is my birthday and there'd be no greater gift than finally finishing this CRT 😭
