Played Dispatch, it was peak. Want to make a match for the verse and this seemed like an alright idea.

Plot: Waterboy gets called in by the student and tries to arrest Baldi, can he do it?
  • Speed is equal
  • Fight takes place in Baldi's school, waterboy starts at the gates and Baldi nearby
  • Baldi has no optional equipment
  • SBA otherwise
Zero to Hero: 0

Math Teacher: 2

On the topic of ap I think they should be comparable. Waterboy no sold his calc (as in got up and went to work right after) and Baldi oneshots the calc he scales to so they shouldn't be too far off. Baldi can rage amp and increase his speed but waterboy should be able to counter this via making water puddles to make him slip

If speed is equal, I don't think Waterboy has any way to get past Baldi's spatial manipulation, gravity manipulation, or BFR

BFR doesn't really seem combat applicable, or it seems only on killing someone

Gravity Manip miiiiiight do something, its seemingly random though and might not even occur in the battle then by that logic. Even then Waterboy could just make a slip n slide with his water to speed away. That or still range spam with a water blast to keep Baldi back

Spatial Manip I doubt will do much either. Waterboy has synergy with Malevola who is using portals with him in the picture, indicating he has experience with this sort of power or something similar.

I can’t imagine Waterboy has much to go against Baldi. I’d still argue Baldi is a bit stronger though not to an extreme degree, but since they both don’t have a lot going on it’s actually pretty important here. Baldi outranges with his more unique abilities and while a chunk of them may not be applicable or super useful, I can still see them having relevance and could mess up Waterboy who, really, has no experience in a fight. At least, not without sending him on random missions.

I think Baldi takes it more often than not. His abilities are niche but it’s better than nothing, his attacks are going to be a bit stronger and the lifting strength disadvantage he has is negligible. Baldi’s special manipulation and rage power, especially, would be useful. He’s been shown to use the former specifically to get people in positions he wants them in, so he should be able to do that against Water Boy, and he is inevitably going to be faster than WB as the fight goes on.

So uh, voting Baldi.
