And also Overlay can just keep Deku moving AT OVERDRIVE SPEEDS (Atleast according to the profile) by puppeteering his own paralyzed body around. So even if he runs out he can simply just say "Nuh Uh" and keep going

It seems gearshift definitely gives deku the advantage to naruto more often but this with like kurama avatar. Clones at meatshields and his own precog I don't think he's gonna be a sitting duck

Both are elite in the big brain plays department so that category is about a wash.

At this point narutos shadow clones can make shadow clones and while deku has great AOE a barrage of rasen shuriken or something should be able to counter that to a degree

Of the 2, Shukaku is the only one who matters to my point, as Gyuki gives no special abilities besides the ability to produce ink, and even then, not having Magnet release doesn't diminish the argument in anyway.

The trend of hyperfocusing on a minor detail of the argument which doesn't affect the veracity of the argument is a plague, the Point is, he has access to all but 1 Kekkai Genkai from the Tailed Beasts.

This I find much more relevant, as we are given a specific time limit of 5-20 minutes maximum for Deku to have this supposed speed blitz.

From this, I have no doubt Naruto can hold out, looking to his fights where he was clearly outmatched in all aspects, Naruto often relies on tricking his opponents, he's not going to be brute forcing his way through Deku, especially since Naruto would be able to sense Deku's fantastic abilities.

Naruto needn't even be amongst his 1000+ Shadow clones (It should be noted the 1000 number is the low end of what Naruto could make, Sasuke flat out states that Naruto could make a thousand a child), since a common thing he, and later on his son, does is to go underground and hide while his opponent works their way through his Shadow clones since he has so much Chakra.

Before anyone brings up Deku noticing this trick, dojutsu users have failed due to how good Naruto is at doing this, such as Neji, who has near 360* X-Ray vision with the Byakugan.

Naruto would need his Rasenshuriken to land a single hit, any of them, which any of his 1000+ Shadow clones can make themselves. Such a situation would lead to a Touhou-esc style bombardment of OHKO attacks being flung at Deku and I can't say (with everything I know of MHA) Deku would be able to dodge every single one.

Relating to what I know of MHA, and I would like someone knowledgeable on the verse to weigh in here, does Deku use this Gearshift ability against any opponent and I would like to see citations for that too.

Because the argument that Deku will immediately jump into this speed blitz form to win hinges on just that, that he will immediately go into it, which from the sounds of the ability, is like arguing Mike Guy will jump into the 7th/8th Gate when he sees someone he doesn't like (i.e very out of character).

Naruto, while already at his strongest form, does not have any speed amps in his arsenal that long term increase his reactions to the point that he can react to Deku moving so fast that he can punch him five times in an instant. Deku quite literally breaks the laws of physics, ignoring inertia and warping the laws of reality, to speed up this fast. If Naruto when fighting Obito or Madara could just blitz them into oblivion with his shunshin and hit them with 5 Rasengans before they could even react, I feel like he would have activated the ability that does that.

I hope ya know the reason why Deku is fast to begin with is BECAUSE of OFA. Even with Fa Jin acting as a speed boost, Naruto literally has Kurama that can also give him chakra to also give an amp. Also yall seem to forget ten but Fa Jin is has a drawback, if Deku can’t seem to get Naruto at all then Deku is a sitting duck. All Naruto has to do is outmaneuver with shadow clones and SM (if he can use it in this battle)

You do realize that Fa Jin is irrelevant to Gearshift right? And that whatever Fa Jin has is negated by Gearshift letting him store enough energy for it instantly?
