Creating New Calculation Pages

I think we should unfurl the pages on the VS Battles Wiki regarding the guide(s) and instructions for calculations.

So, while coming across some blogs made yet regarding adding more to the References for Common Feats page, I found several that hold instructions on how to perform certain types of calculations. Rather than appending these to the RfCF page, I thought it'd be more appropriate to add them to pages.

With that aside, here are a few blogs of these instructions I'd like us to evaluate and accept:

I think these should be fine to add to the Common Feats Page.
I can agree that these are common feats, but @DontTalkDT agreed that the Boulder punching one was more of an instruction page. And besides, there are different things to take into account such as size and temperature. Now, maybe we can add some of the information from the blogs I listed above to the References for Common Feats page, and we could provide some examples of applying the formulas and obtaining different results, but I don't think I see that happening.
 
I think that fire calculations is a good idea. I had the idea myself a while back but that blog does it better than I'd have ever thought to.

The rest I believe would be better as simple sections on the common feats page.

IMO mostly pointless. The page requires you to do the scaling on your own, decide on the shape of the rock and decide on the destruction value.
All it saves you from is plugging values into the volume formula for the given size and to multiply the result by the destruction value and in return gives less precise results in practical use (as it only uses discrete steps). If someone can do all the requirements to use that blog, then they should also be able to manage the little extra math to just do a regular calculation.
At a certain point, it's best to just do a regular calculation.
IIRC we decided to abandon the method last we discussed this.
Seems pretty good. Instead of the ideal gas law in step 2 one could use this.
For the specific heat this could also lead to better estimations.
I'm not sure about the alternative method. Magical fire doesn't really burn in a proper chemical reaction. For non-magical fire a similar method could work, but one would need to figure out the full chemical equation for the burning substance to determine energy release.
Why were a = 1.5667 and b = 7.0781 chosen in particular for the formula from this document?
And can somebody remind me how the Moment Magnitude to Richter Scale thing was derived from the documents?
 
@DontTalkDT Well, I would like us to try and "revive" the discussion on the Lightning creation feats blog and try to add it to the Lightning Feats page. Also, if we could get the Tsunami via Earthquakes one properly evaluated hopefully we'll be able to create a page for it.
 
@DontTalkDT Hmm...well, do we have any other methods or formulas for creating lightning?
 
is there a form of ice calculations? Like calculating the speed or freezing point or creating large glaciers ?
 
I just found another blog that deals with black holes and their power. Maybe we could also create a page for this as well?
