Re Zero Discussion Thread: Season 4 is Real

Dude😭

Wow, is also the same scans and arguments. Aca 1 and 2 is new addition, but It kinda lack feats for It.
I mean... Regulus is Unbound by all laws and concepts of the world, Cause & Effect is a law of the world, Fate too, Therefore Regulus is unbound by cause & Effect since its... A Law of the world. Its as easy as putting 2 and 2 together. It is known that Regulus can toggle on and off what laws and concepts affect him and not. Its literally his whole gimmick, like He is Unbound by time, space (since he also resisted Reinhard's spatial manip), etc, he toggles those.

I mean Regulus dont having any kind of Acausuality just seems... Duvious to me, like Type 4 is the fitting thing for Regulus

And what was the counteragument? Because there are more arguments in favour.
Read this please.

TLDR: So basically, every time the text talks about Regulus being unaffected by shit, is only refer to physical things, and he never show on the story to not get affected by Causality Manipulation, Fate Manipulation, and Precognition. He actually have anti-feats for that.

The thread above explain a little better, so just read that.

Hm. The pandora thing can be justified by pandora just having other thing besides Causuality Manipulation, or just having Acausuality negation, like in other wikis, tho eh. Im mostly indifferent, its not like he would change much in matchups with Acausuality or without it anyways.

Also question? Why doesnt Beatrice have El Vita in this wiki? While its in the rezero wiki? "El Vita (ć‚Øćƒ«ćƒ»ćƒ“ć‚£ćƒ¼ć‚æ): This spell not only amplifies gravity on a specified target, but it also adds mass to it, making it significantly heavier."

Would This be Density Manip?

I guess no one added? Can you show me where she used El Vita? I can add on my CRT that I gonna do later.

Idk, let me search, i was just scrolling on the rezero wiki and found it on her profile, lemme check
Its weird since its written there for some reason but doesnt have a note, nor nothing, you can check Here, im going to see the general magic page to see if there's a scan thefe
Edit: in the general magic page it says this: "The next level of Vita that not only increases the gravity of the target but also their mass. Its only known user is Beatrice. Its first known usage is Volume 25."

That don't really work, since It would require a string of assumptions.
If we are given a statement that X character is exempt from rules/laws (the nature of this exclusion isn't explained in any sense of detail nor is causality specifically mentioned amongst those laws) -> The character is then assumed by the wiki to have an relevantly irregular relationship to causality and thus they are subsequently assumed to have immunity to Precog/Fate/Causality hax -> Any abilities of this kind which affect them are then assumed to have Acausality bypassing properties

These are extraordinary claims which require extraordinary evidence but often such cases only just have one or more unexplored statement of being exempt from laws/rules.
This paragraph explain better what I saying.

Let me know if this is a skillslop stomp or smth

Also I remember seeing a High 6-A calc recently, has it gotten evaluated?

Volcanica should lowkey have EE ngl, first because it looks like It, second because dementia dragon breathing Erasure is funny

What's the problem with it's assumption?
That a single Al Shario spell, which pulls a star from the sky and casts it down to the earth, could destroy the Vollachia Empire.
Sphinx's first Al Shario was aiming to where Cecilus, Al, and Arakiya were. Her goal was Arakiya's death, and thus the destruction of Vollachia by way of Muspel ceasing to be.

Echidna's Al Shario and Alter's Al Shario(s) didn't destroy Lugunica.

Priscilla actually says in arc 8 chapter 70 that Sphinx would need numerous Sphinxes casting Al Shario to destroy Vollachia, which clued her in to the weakness of the clones sharing mana reserves.

I mean DC has never been the Biggest thing in rezero smh, in fact DC has been like secondary, that is a reason about why the verse gets surpisingly downplayed and clowned on in YouTube and other social media, because it doesnt have Big boom booms to up the tiers (and people with low attention spans love Big boom booms), and since YouTube powerscalers only look at the tiers and not at the abilities

The lightspeed downgrade/Lightning cap agenda making me feel like this (also the EE removal, The Trying to downgrade Garf to H7-A+)
image.jpg

All of it is going to set us back 490 years šŸ’”
And make the verse even more downplayed istg

I planning to do Versus Blog between Rem vs Kurapika, but that speed downgrade is kinda putting my plans on the ground 🫩

Is probally still fine as a High endšŸ¤”

The lightspeed downgrade doesnt even make sense
Cecilus outran the expansion of space.
They can dodge literal rainstorms of light.
In what world is that Lightning speed????

The goal is accurate indexing, not bigger numbers.
i know, but capping ther verse at lightning speed is just dumb, because, uh, libre is lighting speed too??????? amongst other overlooked feats like infatilized Cecilus outrunning the expansion of space

libre is lighting speed too?
The argument is pretty clearly that other uses of lightning speed are just flowery prose, and only the lightning speed of Cecilus and the lightning speed described in "The Strongest" are literal. This is because "fast as lightning" is a common simile and rarely is literal. Cecilus meanwhile is described this way literally a hundred times over, and when actual lightning is used in "The Strongest", it's compared to him yet again.

This seems arbitrary, what makes one of them flowery prose and the other not flowery prose, and how are you determining whether the statement is literal or not. And if the justification is still ā€œfast as lightning rarely is literal,ā€ it being repeated a multitude of times doesn’t increase the probability of it being literal. And I have my own disagreements on it being actual lightning but yeah

because Cecilus is outright not "just lightning speed" thats just tappei too, thinking that lightning speed sounds cool

what makes one of them flowery prose and the other not flowery prose
Quantity, Direct Comparison, and Feats. Evidence against it being flowery.

Other characters get "fast as lightning" as often as they get "like a speeding arrow" or "outstripping the wind". Child Cecilus gets 500 lightning statements along the lines of "Cecilus could easily surpass sound and run at lightning-speed."

A bolt of lightning being directly compared to Cecilus rather than the other way around is even stronger support than that.

And lastly he (rather, those on his level) have actually high, irrefutable speed feats to back lightning speed. Namely Reinhard fast-travelling in arc 5, 9, and 10.

then what about the Rainstorm of light statements for the transcendants, cecilus outright outrunning the expansion of space, etc, those arent lightning speed.

then what about
I think Cecilus is FTL. But the spatial recoil spell is not a speed feat.

In somewhat related news:
Yes, toward the direction pointed at by the bald giant, Shaula released a white light.

In that instant, Reinhard held his breath and, pursuing the strike flying at a speed truly equivalent to light itself, leapt backward. —Re:Zero kara Tsugihagu Isekai Seikatsu
