Using power on one's self does not give one a Layer in the slightest even if they resist it, thats just the inherent function of one's power/ability. The only one I can Sort of see is Yhwach having Adyneus' power. But even then that sounds a loot more like Acausality Negation

It does give the layer when he absorbed a being that had a more powerful version of the almighty, to the point where he was unaffected by Yhwach's almighty.
there is no sort of "see" he has his power, as he absorbed him.
And we know for a fact that he was capable of seeing Yhwach's future due to Yhwach literally saying it, while Yhwach could not see his.
Literally 1+1 = 2 scenario.
The entirety of his upgrades are described to be due to him absorbing the soul king, he gains more pupils, after absorbing the soul king.
All indications of the almighty upgrade, with the power in the first place coming from the soul king.

Crazy, Yhwach resists CM2 powernull, with the almighty not even being active, having the entirety of his powers removed, and him being turned into an ant conceptually.

A CRT would need to be performed to evaluate this. In any case, since the layers aren't listed in Yhwach's profile, they can't be taken into account, so Mio is resisting the TA.

Normally it wouldn't as Concept Manip Type 2 is far superior than Type 3.
But we know that Yhwach's Almighty power-null is ofc Fate-Based, as he sees the power in the future and thus nulls it through the Almighty.

But there should be layers for quite a few abilities.
Not like it matters tho, Yhwach absorbs her and powernulls her entire kit while passively exerting a constant passive pressure on her soul

As I've already said in another thread, people need to stop making matchups for Mio, her profile is absurdly outdated and she's missing abilities that would make this fight completely incompatible here, ie, acaus 3 from Kurumi for example. Someone get this closed please, I don't understand why people have been making matchups with her lately when her profile is in such terrible condition

Watch bleach, doesn't take much of a genius to realize soul crush is layered.
character a crushes character b, character c is massively stronger than character b and soul crushes character b, insanely hard to gain layers.
the verse has being that are made up of a billion souls compacted into one being lol.
sadly enough im quite lazy to find all the evidence you want, if you know you know.
maybe i'll make a thread or two when the anime is fully released.
Yhwach sees her utilizing her ability before it even happens and powernulls it via understanding how her ability works.
Goodluck creating law manip or whatever in the first place, against a character that can alter his own fate, and attacks through the future.
He touches her, and her power is gone. which is quite easy to do when you have The Almighty.

One look at the page and you can use (what I can only hope) is common sense to blatantly see how outdated it is, the entire verse is outdated, that's literally why there are ongoing CRT's and an entire effort off site to revise the verse. If that really needs to be the case though, then I can just do it myself later

Can people please stop acting like layers are the end all be all. Yes they are important, but non layered hax can be argued to be of superior potency to non layered or even layered hax resistances because at the end of the "layered" hax is just another method of calculating potency.
On that point I think Yhwach has greater fate manipulation potency than Mio has shown to resist.
Shouldn't really matter tho, as Mio appears to be outdated, this should be closed.

This has noting to do with layers? Characters C sc character B, because C is stronger, aka just quantitative difference
For layers you need qualitative difference
