Interesting feat in one of the special stages (or bonus stages as they're called) of Sonic 3D Blast/Flickies Island, Sonic runs up to (assumingly) space in about 7 seconds. Of course, the background is technically kinda wonky like here so perhaps a little questionable.

There's also this thing where Sonic is carried to a special stage located in deep space, with some asteroids though I'm sure that's been brought up before. Still a cool possible MFTL+ feat

Lost World materials called it faster-than-light; you can see it in the Press Release posts from almost all major news outlets from back in the day.

A Color Power that also appeared in "Sonic Colors". Sonic can transform into the Cyan Wisp by borrowing the power of the "Cyan Wisp". Sonic's body becomes a laser that rushes forward at faster-than-light speeds while defeating enemies. Besides defeating enemies, it can also discover hidden routes by touching the floating prisms in various places.

It's really the only time they said it, every other only uses "superfast" (高速) or at best "lightspeed" (光速).

Well, one Emerald on its own, even in an "erased" state, was able to ward off the Incomplete Time Eater.

Yes, but it gets a bit tricky because Emeralds without a living being also have a variety of feats all over as well depending on count and intent.

For the Incomplete Time Eater that's possible. The main issue with applying that to Complete Time Eater is a twofold thing.

1. The side characters cheering on the Sonics was likely a sufficient-enough charge to shoot them above the low-end of Super Form power, as that's typically when we see Super Sonic at his peak (with plenty of exceptions).
2. Sonic Speed Simulator (the bane of Redditors, 4channers, and Twitter users alike) had Eggman confirm that the Time Eater's core was a weakness that he was the one to implement. Meaning the Time Eater took several attacks from the Super Sonics at full power directly to its weak point.

Sonic crossovers in general are still a huge "idgaf" for me but it's cool to see one of the big inspirations for Frontiers to get into the game. Lowk gotta watch Evangelion sometime
