The funniest thing to come out of this finale will be that someone will try to get rid of the 8-B based off it being an outlier compared to literally every other feat he's shown in the show.

I genuinely dont know how his character will conclude at all.He is just an average guy with slightly stronger capabilities.Pretty much starlight without the light.

It literally wasn't. A main character died, and multiple things happened that advanced the plot or gave meaningful information, including (but not limited to) MM's origins, trying to give Kimiko Soldier Boy's blast, and more of Butcher's past and context to his dark side. Not the best penultimate episode, but not filler. Pure filler is episode 4.

I like the idea that he doesn't die, but stays embarassed and cancelled in everyone's eyes and is doomed to be always unsuccessful in the society

They do their lines at once since it's voice acting. So it's not impossible.
But it would be very plot convenient for him to be exactly where Deep falls into the ocean.
Plus we just guessing that the one to fall on the beach is Deep. Which is a possibility, but it could also be Ryan, Homelander or a random flying supe.

Anyway. The finale is only a dinner and a sleep away. But allas the scaling will continue.
Since Homelander is the top dog, he scales above everyone like he is Satoru Gojo. Meaning if Vought rising and Boys Mexico has big stuff, then we will probably keep updating the Boys scaling even after the show ends.
Vought rising is promising (in feats and presentation I mean) since it has high tier Supes. But it all depends on the direction.
Gen V has more power usage despite having lower budget. Although the cast being new and lower paid did help.

The Deep joins The Boys, they all decide to persuade fishes and put all of blame on Homelander for 15th march, Samuel Jackson jumps from the water and maims Homelander to death.
