...Then how is that a win condition? Just barely being outside of the oneshot range doesn't mean it's a feasible win condition when he's fighting someone with actual ranged abilities, hax and far higher durability.

Gai sensei holds AP advantage a little and i believe he can one shot with Night Gai
Gai cant fly but he can punch and kick Air so he is fine agaisnt thragg flying around but if thragg bfrs hım to space then İTS gg
Plus thragg has massive Ls advantage so he might tore offs gai senseis arms as well
Gai has analytical abilities so he is fine agaisnt evading thragg
İf gai uses Night gai then İTS over thraggs arms gonna look like spagetti and he will get half of his body scatered across the field

It's a lot closer now, but I suggest to change the Thragg gif to avoid seizures.

Thragg still looses so badly. By the 5th step he's already outmatched badly in speed and considering the damage sekizon did to madara who is 2x more durable than thragg, I'm not even sure thragg survives it.
If he does night guy just bends space and renders him incapable of dodging and then obliterates him.

While it heavily depends on how much the "Far Higher" value Thragg scales to, I believe at worst (or close to the worst) Thragg's insane stamina would keep him in the fight long enough to kill Guy when 8th Gate ends at which point, Guy would have no way to defend himself then gets ripped apart.
I'm teetering on either choice as an over 2x AP gap isn't nothing for Guy's argument but its not the end all be all.
I'm voting Thragg for now.

Guy also scales pretty heavily above his value. He can make Madara (who scales >= above the value) spit blood with a single punch, and Night Guy basically liquefied a quarter of his body. So if NG hits I don't see Thragg surviving it.
The question is if it even counts as a win if Guy dies 5 seconds later

He's not breaking guy's bone. And doesnt guy have the AP advantage enough to one-shot Thragg? How would he tank that?

Relative strength lets viltrumites do that to other viltrumites. Don't see why he not doing it here. I don't see where Guy has a 7x ap diff to one shot.

Taking skill into account, Thragg genuinely wouldn't be able to successfully hold guy in place to break his bone. Guy would outmaneuver him 10/10 times. Equal speed means skills and battle iq take the centre stage, and Guy just bullies in that department.
Yeah. I thought Night Guy's value was up to that. Guess I was wrong. Regardless, I dont see how Thragg wins this if their AP is similar. Guy's just too skilled and has better battle iq.

Thragg's more skilled. Thragg's far higher in LS so he could hold him down if he wanted. And similar ap means Guy struggles to kill, while he's on a time limit and Thragg's got stamina for several days against someone equal to him on top of being injured constantly.

Its honestly pointless to even bring up skill here. Guy doesn't fight with skill in 8th gate, he's all about huge attacks. No tactic, not special style used. Just pure kicks, hitting air and rushing. Thragg survives or just evades the Sekizo, and Guy kills himself on Night Guy.

Night guy did almost kill madara who is more durable than thragg and madara did only survive because of his regeneration which is far higher than thragg

How in the world is Thragg more skilled? Like what??? Infact, I find it difficult for Thragg to be more skilled than the average Shinobi who literally have to master so many skillful combat techniques. Viltrumites are literally just pure power. No skill whatsoever. Virtually all Viltrumites never train in any form of martial arts in their life, as they rely purely on power to overwhelm their opponents. Guy's awareness in combat supersedes Thragg's. So is his battle iq and his hand to hand techniques. This is not even close. Thragg's lifting strength doesnt really matter because again, Thragg is a brawler with no technique. Just raw power and speed. Might Gai is an expert h2h combatant with even more power. A Night Guy to Thragg's face would definitely do the job as he lacks the instant regenerative power of Madara's.
The only way Thragg survives is by making sure his head or heart doesnt get pulverized by Nigjt guy, but then again, that would hard since Night Guy literally bends space amd prevents you from shielding yourself as we saw against Madara.

Might Guy's skills doesnt just suddenly disappear in 8 gates. Just because he barely showed any skill in that form doesnt mean his skills disappeared. The form was supposed to boost all his previous abilities to the absolute max which includes his reflexes and power. And he does use tactics. His entire usage of sekizo was actually tactically sound.
Night Guy is a speed amp. Or maybe more of a spatial manip technique as Madara wasnt even able to evade or defend himself from the move as he was bending space.

Madara is the same value as Guy, 29 zettatons. So no he's not more durable, its negligible. Sekizo itself is amped, just means Thragg gets stopped by a bunch of air blasts but never dies. Guy goes into a stance to for Night Guy, Thragg can just fly when he sees this.
Funny enough this entire fight may just be Guy having to keep himself in the air and spamming Sekizo just to not die all to use Night Guy and die. But even if Thragg gets hit by night guy, I see him surviving longer than Guy lives.
Hitting air is a basic tactic and its his only tactic in the form. So nah, I'm not gonna debate about skillslop over two punch and kick characters, except one hits air cool.
Oh and Thragg resist gravity, he should resist the bending of space since that's just cause by the force Guy generated through speed, nothing special about that.

Witth amps of sekizo and night guy, thragg get outpaced like madara and cant do anything, he cant even move,like we see how madara is unable to move from attacks.
Sekizo is already enough for guy to heavily damage thragg and night guy just. Finished his life

Right so he just stops Thragg from attacking but doesn't do much else.

Why do you keep insinuating that Guy suddenly loses all his previous combat skills once he enters the 8th gate? Sure, hitting air, punching hard, etc are all basics. But at the end of the day, he's a taijitsu specialist. The best one. An absolute freak when it comes to combat skills. This guy keeps up with ninjas who have busted ass haxes on a day to day basis with nothing but hand2hand skills and battle iq. Literally watch Kakashi and guy vs masked obito.
He doesnt lose his h2h skills all because he is in 8th gate. He simply realized that having superior skills against Juubidara was pointless as he needed to overwhelm him with speed and power. He didnt need to engage in a close combat battle with madara cuz that wouldnt be useful against him. The one time he attempted that, he almost got wiped out by madaras' truth seeking orbs.
None of the gravitational resistance feats viltrumites show are strong enough to resist Night Guy. Night guy is more powerful than Sekizo and Sekizo could halt Madara's movement but Madara could still shield himself albeit barely. Night guy on the ther hand Literally prevents you from doing anything, going as far as warping the truth seeker orbs staff Madara tried using to defend himself.
Thragg is genuinely not surviving Night Guy. Madara barely did. Even his regeneration took extra time to heal. Madara's weaker "1eyed rinnegan Juubidara form" survived half of his body cut in half by Sasuke and ignored it even. Thragg is getting murked before Guy runs out.

Guy can fly via kicking air, we see him fighting in air against madara and madara did flight to run from might guy.
Madara used his tsos for blocking sekizo but even tough he block one attack, madara cought blood again and again.
Also madara said he cant take 4 direct attack from sekizo and thragg just cant avoid them due to speed amps.
And madara almost died from night guy, he only lived because of his regeneration whoch thragg doesnt has.

This is 8th gate, not regular gates where he can show skill. You think I'm insinuating cuz you aren't reading what I said.
Thragg's got greater LS to resist its pull.
Def is. We saw how Guy hit Madara, left his head unhurt. Nolan survived his damaged heart too albeit died later on. Guy dies after Night Guy, Thragg doesn't.

No he said it would be bad and then literally got hit by four and still got up from it, even from a direct punch which he feared more. Thragg's doing the same thing. I don't think yall understand that he's got the stamina to keep getting hit by severe attacks for days. A couple sekizo's ain't gonna work, and Guy will opt to Night Guy after realizing it.
He'll live from it longer than it takes Guy to die.
