Does Death Hax counter Regeneration?

Like you induce death to a dude with regen. Does that negate their ability to heal?

Depends on what type of death is induced, someone who can regenerate from his soul is typically immune to death inducement as a disembodied soul is what is typically conceived as being dead for most fictions.

As mentioned above, it is entirely depenedant on the potency of the death hax in question, for example you would only need like Mid or High-Mid regen at absolute most to essentially nullify the death hax possessed by the Death Note. Where as more potent death hax like Shiki's Mystic Eyes of Death Perception do a lot more of course

Honestly, as mentioned above, it depends on both the regeneration and the death hax's own potency. If you can regenerate from complete physical destruction, any type of death hax against the body is useless, but if it works on the soul level, then we are talking.

So yeah, in a way, Death hax can bypass regeneration, but it requires it to be beyond what the regeneration has shown.

Yes, since pure death manipulation, like directly inducing death, isn’t about destroying something, there’s nothing to regenerate from. If a character’s regeneration were tied to resurrection, that would be a different story.

You make them death so they dies, regen will not help them. Though there many ways to circumvent this, such as regen/resurrection combo, etc...... this is entirely depends on context, how the verse treat death and regeneration

No, resurrection can counter death inducement.
Obviously death Hax must also be potent enough to affect the character or entity in the first place.

This actually reminded me of a question I previously had
What exactly is the difference between self-resurrection and high-level regeneration/healing? Don't they both reverse death and heal injury?
Like, if I got turned into a pile of ash and a spell was cast on me to restore my body and bring me back to life, would that be resurrection, healing, or both?

This is wrong, even with High-Godly regen you will stil die to poisons, venons or diseases or aging without feat

Immortality can counter Death Manipulation.

Regeneration can also counter it in some cases, for example, some characters may be able to “heal from death” or perform something similarly outlandish. But more often than not, Regeneration can't help with getting hit with Death Manipulation.

Low-Godly Regeneration allows a character to completely regenerate their body from another aspect of themselves. Because of this, it is possible that they may be able to create an entirely new, living body. However, Regeneration cannot necessarily stop Death Manipulation from killing the body they already have.

Bringing that body back to life would be a form of self-resurrection, which is listed under Immortality.
