It's just a standard video game health bar ( think of it like pokemon )

Never played pokemon, but I do understand what you mean. According to my experience with different profiles, we either give it Healing or unspecified Regeneration based on Game Mechanics

just healing, not regeneration, unless we have actual visual damage corresponding with the loss of health
