This reminds me, I hate how you can't acknowledge that a terrible person did something good because people think you're supporting their actions as a whole. Like I can't admit that Hitler was unironically a great painter because people will take it as me not believing he's one of the worst people in human history, even though I clearly do still believe that.
To be fair, while this makes sense, the reverse also makes sense: people who were considered good did terrible stuff too.Hitler is also responsible for much of the stuff that regards animal rights, and he was also one of the first vegans (idk how reliable is this one).
Overall, if Hitler wasn't a genocidal, racist maniac he would have been a somewhat good person.
Unfortunatly, he didn't like the orange Juice
Basically, unfortunately, it's possible for beings to perform both extremely good and extremely bad actions (either separately or even simultaneously).
I'd point to a lot of scientists who performed unethical acts (like experimentation on live animals) to learn more about the world as an example, and both the Alliance/Central Powers and Entente/Allies in WW1 and the Axis and Allies in WW2 did screwy stuff too.
