AP & LS advantages are too small, better Range and SOMEHOW better Intelligence cover it easily, so yeah Angеl Dust one-shotter FRA.

Tbf Val only has range because the HK size CRT hasn’t been approved, with it Val still technically would have range but only with his guns, which can be closed with HK’s teleportation

Edit: Infection would also be a problem for Val, but vote counted!

Thing is, wasn't everyone there already infected? And that was just their infection getting worse?

No? Everyone there was pretty much untouched due to the Black Egg completely sealing the Radiance/Infection away. The MOMENT that seal loosened everyone got infected almost immediately.

Pretty sure every enemy there (Vengeflies, Gruzzers, Husks, etc.) release the Infection's orange juice once you kill them, so do think they were all infected, but just like the Husks, it didn't morph their bodies too much.

Edit: Okay yeah you’re right, wtf how did I miss that.

Though I still think it’s worth noting that they weren’t actually infected enough for anything to happen, and once more of the Infection was let out, they all immediately folded.

Infection + The bunch of AOE and large attacks it has to get past Val’s regen + It’s own Type 2 Immortality

It MIGHT be more skilled despite it’s animalistic intelligence but that’s a maybe.
 
voting Hollow Knight

despite technically having the intelligence advantage, Valentino unironically just gets vastly outskilled considering how he could keep up with and pressure the Knight, who could beat Hornet twice. He has Weapon Mastery as his second ability. His Animalistic intelligence comes from the fact that he doesn't have sentience anymore, but it doesn't stop him from being an effective fighter. If anything this prevents Valentino's Social Influencing from working since he doesn't have enough sentience to understand language anymore. If Valentino gets close he's being demolished

Valentino does outrange but due to his bad eyesight he can only shoot people from several meters away, meanwhile the Hollow Knight has his own projectiles that can be fired from the same range as well so the advantage doesn't exist

Valentino shooting the Hollow Knight does basically nothing cuz he can just ignore the pain as he's been able to tank stabbing himself in the gut for no reason. The Hollow Knight slashing Valentino will slice off limbs and cause severe pain and Valentino doesn't have the regeneration necessary to recover before he's literally torn apart

All of Valentino's "advantages" don't exist cuz range doesn't exist due poor eyesight and the Hollow Knight's own projectiles and intelligence doesn't exist cuz y'all aren't reading the profiles at all.

Heck you can't even argue for flight cuz the Hollow Knight's is straight up better since he has mostly true flight that Valentino can't stop, meanwhile the Hollow Knight can tear off Valentino's wings

people were mentioning that range was relevant in this thread when it isn't

that comment wasn't targeted towards you, and the part about y'all not reading the profiles was skill since people genuinely thought Valentino outskills somehow
 
I dunno, bad eyesight seems to greatly hinder the effectiveness of anything in a fight. That plus slight stats advantage and infection makes me vote Hollow Knight FRA.

Although the lack of proper tabbers and bullet points on their profile almost makes me want to vote against the bug
