Not.Do Midway and Second Timeline of mortal kombat share the same cosmology or not?
Elaborate?I assume they'd share the same cosmology when you get to things like Titans, right?
Well it doesn’t really affect the Midway timeline, but cross scaling between MK11 and M1K titans should be fine. The Titans exist outside of the "multiverse" (as in, the realms in a single timeline, like Earthrealm and Outworld). I think 11 and 1 retconned the Titans into always being there, even in the old timelines
Granted.I wish I could get beat up by Li Mei
Didn't MK9 continue the story of MK Armageddon before Raiden changing timeline? Not.
I may or may not try a CRT to get every Armageddon key to Low 2-C/2-C lol :vIf I get the right references, I can get a 2-A NRS Raiden before GTA6.

I think MK9 is considered a soft reboot for the series given how the games changed owners afterwardsDidn't MK9 continue the story of MK Armageddon before Raiden changing timeline?

Yeah the larger cosmology probably should be shared or reconciled since Kronika canonically oversaw all previous timelines including the Midway era and we know now that adaptations like the animated films and 95 movie exist as timelines in their own rightThe Titans exist outside of the "multiverse" (as in, the realms in a single timeline, like Earthrealm and Outworld). Wait, where was it stated?Yeah the larger cosmology probably should be shared or reconciled since Kronika canonically oversaw all previous timelines including the Midway era and we know now that adaptations like the animated films and 95 movie exist as timelines in their own right
Few placesWait, where was it stated?
Oh yeah, forgot about thatIt’s a plot point in the Sub-Zero animated movie that Kano killed Kronika and made his own timeline (this is again referenced in intros)
I'm ... working on it.Oh yeah, forgot about that
This franchise is a mess honestly. Btw, is the verse going to stay around tier 9 to 7 at the very best (aside from some tier 2 stuff) or is it possible we might have a higher tier?
I’d love higher but sadly I doubt it’ll ever happenOh yeah, forgot about that

Context? In the MK2 movie, Raiden's power is equal to dragging a star from the heaven.
What do you guys think of this description?
Spoiler AlertContext?
By "power", you mean energy the sun produces or...Spoiler Alert
Shao Kahn wanted to gain immortality via Shinnok's amulet. But to make the amulet work, he needed the power to drag a star from the heaven, or the power of a god (Raiden).
Star level.By "power", you mean energy the sun produces or...
But, like, GBE or just heat energy it generates?Star level.
As in tier 4.But, like, GBE or just heat energy it generates?
No, no, no, I meant would that warrant tier 4?As in tier 4.
If he's gotta pull a star from the sky or have the power of a God, thet makes the latter tier 4.No, no, no, I meant would that warrant tier 4?
Oh! Literally pulling a star, then yeah, that's fine.If he's gotta pull a star from the sky or have the power of a God, thet makes the latter tier 4.
