Imu spawned clouds so it makes sense that Nami could sense it with her weather detection.Seems like Nami and Zeus were the first ones to sense Imu's arrival

As far as sitting and chewing on this chapter for a bit, I wonder if Imu's powers being just "Devil Fruit" is kind of soft confirmation of the theory of Devil Fruits being a form of demonic contract in and of themselves, with the Abyss contract/powers just being another form of that overall demonic power. It's either aliens, hell, or aliens from hell.

I’m waiting for the official translated version before I read more into this tbh. I’ve seen a few different ways of rendering it.
I’ve been thinking about how Lunarians might related since I heard about Imu's design. After seeing how he actually looks I had a new theory different than Imu being a Lunarian.
This is assuming his horns aren’t from the Devil Fruit power of course. What if Imu is a hybrid with Lunarian blood instead of being a full blood one like King. Because I remembered the Lunarians were the original inhabitants of the Red Line. Interestingly, they were said to rule a "Kingdom of the Gods". Imu's horns also resemble the ones Loki, Yamato, and Black Maria have, which was why I thought he could be a hybrid.
