Object Show General Discussion Thread: New Friendly

Alright, what in the actual F*CK is going on behind the scenes, man...

For context, 3 members on the Inanimate Insanity crew just recently got fired over the Justin Chapman controversy from last year

So much for II's 15th anniversary...
The worst part here is that the AnimationEpic crew just chooses to stay silent about the controversies rather than addressing them publicly like they don't want their reputation to be ruined, but not talking about them is just putting them deeper into boiling water.

So now what? Does this mean that the new IIIV episode is going to get delayed so they can get new voice actors to record lines for them?

Well, they did post this at least:

They may have addressed it just now, but that doesn't give them an excuse for them taking a full year to explain why Justin silently was fired without any public announcement.

I just fear that the upcoming meet-up will have people starting to complain at the AnimationEpic crew about the firing controversies. What's worse is that all of this is on the show's 15th anniversary, and I believe these controversies coming into light pretty much ruined it for many people.

I swear when I heard about the news, I was genuinely so pissed off.

Also I'm pretty sure Jazzy tried framing Michael Huang as a homophobe despite the fact that this is literally a thing

Michael does have some stuff on him like not even last night (allegations of having a burner account for a bit on twitter and basically being rude to people), though it’s being debated if it’s true at the moment. (Kinda leaning towards real now that Emily retweeted the thread) But yea no he’s not homophobic.

Information regarding the next II IV episode and the 2 remaster episodes
I saw it in theaters and I thought they were pretty good.

Wait, so given how there will be 11 contestants left once TPOT 23 happens, as well as how 24 and 25 are connected to 23, then we'd have 4 competition episodes left and a final vote, but then that would imply that the rejoin won't happen unless one of the episodes somehow has 4 people get out at once.

Also, I never expected One to get defeated this early, as I thought it would've been season finale material. Unless, if One gets defeated by TPOT 25, she would either return alive somehow or potentially have a new antagonist for episodes 26-30? I have heard people theorize that One won't be the final antagonist in the season, after all.

Wonder if this means Four’s gonna get his powers back by TPOT 26 or if they’re gonna go with the “actually these powers are dangerous for everyone, let’s agree to get rid of them.”

Same, but I doubt they even have a choice considering the contestants would normally just stop competing if it's just getting eliminated without having any solid prize at the end (or maybe X will make the prize).

New episode's out

Huh, so Yoyle City somehow got buried beneath Yoyle Mountain to be used as Two's Elimination Space?

Also, YES! I'm so happy that this episode is building up for Puffball being the one to save the day! I've known for a fact that Sam and Cary have once stated in some 2025 meetup QnAs that they really had more stories to tell with Puffball that they would've told had she not gotten out early, but now it seems like the time. At this point, she's probably going to serve a similar role to Firey Jr. being the eliminated contestant who ends up tagging along with the remaining contestants to help them with their challenge despite being out of the game. It's like the old saying goes: 'till death do us part.

Perhaps, because of this, on top of Fries' encouragement to Puffball, she might be able to rejoin?

Yoyle City being buried sounds like something that'll come up in IDFB once that comes back. I think this is the first time we've seen it again timeline-wise.

But yeah, if we do get a rejoin, a LOT of contestants feel like they have a good shot after this episode. Puffball especially, but I know a bunch of people were happy to see characters like Pie and Foldy again.

I do wonder how this “realm” (pocket dimension?) works considering we see both a Sun and a starry night inside it, yet is seemingly affected by the Rift transmutating the sky

Oh, right! There IS a starry sky there! It kinda reminds me of how the True Moon from Final Fantasy 4 has a starry sky in it despite how the outside looks moon-sized, and considering how there's already an entire universe inside of the Earth's core, I guess that's something to add about the structure of BFDI's Earth.

Given the starry sky inside of it, it could potentially affect all of the feats of the characters physically moving Earth to upgrade the low end of their lifting strength. For reference, there's 80 billion stars around us in a 2000 light year radius, which is close to the typical 2002 light year radius pocket dimensions with starry skies have.

BFDI’s Earth just gets more and more powerful. Inverted planets, starry skies, an entire alternate universe… I’m still surprised it’s gravitationally bound to the Sun at this point.

Common misconception; BFDI's sun is actually orbiting the earth

What is this supposed to be, My Little Pony? In all seriousness, we have yet to have a confirmed statement if the Sun actually does orbit Earth as opposed to vice-versa.

Okay I finished the episode like 30 minutes ago and I liked it!
Leafy's little drawing of Firey in the tent is just so sad they keep on being split up, why can't the poor girl be left alone?

Yet it somehow is small enough to appear in the TLC. Although this is probably just down to the fact that S1 did alot of stuff that defies itself and the later seasons.

And yet we have constantly seen the sun in other scenes being much bigger than Earth, so that could imply that the TLC has some weird hammerspace within it.

Anyhow, another thing to note: perhaps Two might have High-Godly Resurrection? We do see Snowball with 1/17 of Two's powers try to resurrect Basketball after she got historically erased, and while he managed to correctly shape her body while recovering her, his inexperience with Two's powers led to him creating something else kinda like how Donut failed to properly recover Naily when he had Four's powers, meaning had he been more experienced with using these powers, Snowball could've actually recovered Basketball. After all, One did state that she could "probably" bring Gaty back, and this was just her base form, to which Two has over 470x more power than her.

It’s possible, after all Two already creates a Low-Godly Ressurection construct in this episode alone. Albeit. They did say in TPOT 19 they already tried recovering her without her coming back. It’s possible they only tried with the WRC but it’s possible they also tried with their powers.

Do we have any reason to assume that the very LPRC Two made only works with legs? The other times we've seen LPRCs in the series which did get erased when something that wasn't a leg touched them weren't made by Two as far as I'm aware.

wdym by “counting for anything”?
I meant like if it would be some type of new ability or something, I figure not really but it just reminded me of Tennis Ball's law manipulation with his recovery center, my fault for the confusion.

Nah bro Two is just that good.

On a more serious note though, I think it might just be the same as the HPRC but instead its the LPRC since Foldy has only legs and it was provided to her, because hey, armless contestants have used the HPRC and it didn't disappear.

Well, I did expect this. But looks like BFDIA 25 is coming to theaters! This one I can understand, as it is the finale. Just hope they take a break between it and a new theatre release (if they ever do another one), hopefully longer than TPOT 21 and this one.
This one's probably coming out in May since IIRC TPOT 23 is going to be released in the summer (Around late May-mid June) after BFDIA 25. That said, perhaps BFDIA 25 might explain how all of the changes done in post-hiatus BFDIA got reverted prior to IDFB 1? (IE. Bomby being purple)

That's basically what I'm expecting most, and also setting up IDFB's return (which I'm also pretty excited for, as I'm really curious how they'll approach that one).
