Yes. During the original creation of the calc 3 CGMs approved anime usage of the feat due to reasons said in the comments of that calc. The CRT is to follow up whether or not it's usable. Basically the 2 interpretations are the beam continued to go up and that the anime just zoomed out, making it just the same exact feat as the manga but more context, or the beam dispersed where it was last seen in the manga and the anime modified the feat.

The original calc had both the manga and anime version calc’d. Both ends are accepted
