Apparently battles between top-tier dragons and gods leads to some form of Star Creation. Relevant scan. The Antares star is also born of a dragon in the Dragon Maid lore. It seems the battle lights transmute into actual stars (either via nuclear fusion or just magic), since otherwise they would not be known as stars in the human world (Antares) and Tohru's world which also has the concepts of Astrology and Uranology.
This is congruent with all the statements of dragons being capable of destroying the world [including non-top tiers like Ilulu] and not a outlier (although surely the best Dragon Maid feat i know of). For further, better formatted reasoning for a verse upgrade, here is a Revision post with far more.
Of course this impacts the whole verse but you may be curious, is Tohru considered a "top-tier" dragon or does she scale to them? The answer is yes to both. During a recent battle she fought the 3rd strongest Chaos Dragon, Rindo, to a standstill (148). She sparred with three top tiers in Chapter 139, and she was stated to be one of the strongest Chaos Dragons by Telne. Even if you don't give this feat to Tohru since shes never done it, she is a top tier and scales to top tier dragons who can create stars as a byproduct of fighting gods. So she scales to this feat too. And stronger dragons with wiki profiles, like Lucoa and Telne, should get this added to their profiles.
PS: As you noticed there are different scanlations. The revision OP checked some raws and found the statements to be accurate, i havent done the same though (will note official Crunchyroll anime translations kept all of the planetary/world destroying statements, if that means something to you, but im not sure how accurate those translations are either).
