Question about HDE

I have a question about the difference in dimensionality in HDE.

If a character A has 4D or 5D HDE and another character B has 6D HDE, could character A affect B in any way?.

For example, if A has conceptual hax and B does not have immunity to that type of hax, could A still damage or defeat B despite having lower dimensionality?.

Basically, my question is: can a character with lower dimensionality affect a character with higher dimensionality if they have special abilities (hax) that the other character is not immune to?.

Thanks for the link. I read the page about resistance and higher-dimensional existence, but I still have a question.

From what I understand, characters with Higher-Dimensional Existence have most of their being outside the dimensional axis that lower-dimensional characters operate in, which normally prevents many abilities from affecting them.

However, how would this interact with conceptual manipulation? If character A (4D/5D) has conceptual hax that affects reality or concepts themselves, and character B (6D) does not have resistance or immunity to conceptual manipulation, would A still be unable to affect B due to the dimensional difference? Or would the conceptual hax still work if it affects the reality B exists in?.

I'm mainly trying to understand how conceptual abilities interact with Higher-Dimensional Existence.

Based off my understanding of what's written on the page, the same exact way, conceptual manipulation is limited by what the character can and cannot do. If character A (4D/5D) attempted to use conceptual manipulation on character B (6D) without sufficient range, character A would be unable to meaningfully affect them in anyway, even if character B lacks a resistance. However, if character A uses conceptual manipulation and applies it's effects directly onto reality, once character B interacts with a portion of said reality then a cross section of them can be affected. Though, as noted on the page it won't really have a damning effect on the whole of character B's existence. Though maybe you might wanna wait for other more knowledgeable member's responses before coming to a conclusion

Thanks for the explanation, I appreciate it. That makes the idea much clearer to me.

And sure, I'll wait to see if some more knowledgeable members reply as well, just to get a better understanding of how conceptual manipulation interacts with higher-dimensional existence.
