This is probably a joke, but even if the game’s original story was canon (not sure it is), I don’t think statements like this would be able to be used. It’s a vague, potentially hyperbolic line that is only said in the versus mode which is definitely non-canon.

It’s likely describing All Might’s metaphorical impact on the world and the impact of this battle. If it’s the headline it could be hyperbole as they often (especially in fiction) exaggerate and don’t provide full context of a subject.

its likely talking about the crescendo of the fight where AM and AFO clash so it could easily be referring to that punch

also it specifically says "AN impact" not just impact and if its just the shock and popularity surrounding the fight it would've been worded differently like "A shock that surprises the entire world!" or smth like that so im more likely to lean towards it talking about their punches and "An impact" doesn't really fit for shock, popularity, or metaphorical impact its to weird

and as for the hyperbole i alr asked you why it should be a hyperbole fully not js "they could have exaggerated the headlines" even then it should be believable since multi con shi has been shown physically in mha (cloud wide feat but thats under hella scrutiny rn for obvious reasons)

It's talking about how the ending of All Might's fight against All For One made an impact that's being felt throughout the world.

You seem to be under a massive misunderstanding. This is about news spreading globally, and the public shock and emotional impact.

There is no mention of All Might and AFO's clash causing a planet wide impact.
