So... yeah. This is a verse that has hilariously bad Word of God strewn throughout the profiles.

Spoiler: Some examples

Stolas, the bum, is scaled to Full Power Alastor based off of... this. I have a half-acccepted thread going into why Stolas scaling to Alastor is asinine.

Angel Dust and Sir Pentious have dangerous venoms-- that they never show and is never even implied to exist in the actual media.

Appearances, that's obvious, special abilities? ...no. We don't even have proof of simple stuff like enhanced hearing for cast members like Husk or Alastor.

So it is stated that DEMONS are extra resilient and can regenerate limbs and yadda yadda yadda-- Imps exist. "Oh but they're a lower class of demon--" And? when did Viv ever say that it didn't apply to them?

This just... is never shown. And Alastor literally disproves this by his shield not breaking when attacked by Excorcists not named Adam.

Another statement that just is never backed up, and is contradicted: the eyes can be seen in the Lust Ring here and every scene onwards. Sinners, if we're going full WoG, are only on Pride.

Rosie is Low-tier yet made Alastor the #1 Sinner. Yeah right.

So... Vivzie doesn't put a lot of thought into her responses and statements, or they're so long ago she forgot, thus, we really shouldn't be taking them as gospel. We aren't just in the Pilot anymore, we have four seasons spread across two shows and a lot of shorts for the other show, we do not need to use Word of God to bump characters up, invent abilities, and make World Building.

So what is this thread looking to achieve? Well, basically, any Word of God that isn't either

1. Stated multiple times
2. Word of God that is clarifying a scene in the show.
3. Word of God that is Supported by the show, like Niffty being able to speak Japanese.

Is thrown out for this thread. This thread will discuss replacement feats, downgrades, etcetera.

Edit: It has been a popular option that Modern WoG remains usable. I am neutral on this, but it's something else to vote on.

Well, unless we assume that the Goeti exist magically through the power of hell, even Stolas says "oh my Lucifer" in mastermind, which is a expression similar to what IMP do when reffering to their creator Satan
also, again, both places are called realms and the only other thing called realm in this verse, is the universe ("the circus"-helluva boss season 2)

This is putting a strangle hold on Word of God. Your pithy Universe statement is not directly stated in the show, and Realm in one Verse has meant anything from a 10-Kilometer Island to a ******* Higher Dimension.

Personally i do agree with nuking all Pilot Era statements, But at the same time i know that once the crossover is finally placed in our grubby mits the Alastor and Stolas Scaling change will most definently be undone.

Cause i guarantee you they will either habe Alastor get Low Diffed by the Goetia to continue his "Not as strong as he seems" situation, or only be comparable to them. So in the end Stolas would still atleast Scale to Alastor.

Anyway yeah uh old as shit word of god bad, the franchise has changed quite a bit from all the way back then ranging from main characters being drastically reduced to side character roles (or in the case of Mimzy, literally one episode) to characters just being entirely redesigned (iirc Adam was just meant to be a literal goat person).

Speaking of that fraud Adam, when the hell are we nerfing that bum's charisma stat. Bro won an awards for being the biggest dick in heaven and gets it listed as actual charisma despite every scene implying that nobo-what do you mean I'm off topic?

Ages are fine to keep as far as I can tell. They are unironically the most consistent of the word of God stuff and honestly haven't been contradicted once in the story so far (in fact they tend to end up being confirmed)
