Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

So I've been gone from this thread for awhile but checked so profiles recently and was shocked to see the downgrades.

Well not that shocked especially considering how some verse get targeted cough DC cough Tensura. Can someone give me and explanation or TDLR on the drop to Low 1-C and Infinite speed (this one kinda makes sense because the justification was ass and VSBW doesn't have Inaccessible speed)?

Also I'm very excited for 4.x, I'm surprised it's another year long story but this time split between two locations.

Uhh tl:dr the sea of quanta’s 11 dimensions dont qualify because the durandal bubble world has 7 compact dimensions therefore the sea is 5D (4 spatial + 1 time) instead of THE VERBATIM STATED 10 spatial + 1 time. Infinite speed downgrade was justified tho i didnt agree with the speed ratings myself (like immeasurable yanqing are we searious?)

Planarcadia reminds me a lot of Penacony, which is a good thing since that is my favorite map so far.

Ampho did not interest me with the Greek aesthetic; too much fantasy, too little sci-fi. If I wanted to play a medieval fantasy game, I could always play Genshin. I'm glad they are leaning more into the sci-fi setting again.

Also, Sunday and Himeko getting screen time is siccckkkkk. I hope Welt gets the love he deserves, too.

they wanted a greek asthetic but none of the characters (other than aglaea and maybe phainon and mydei) looked greek... hell even dr ratio looks more greek than half the cast. cipher's va carried and anaxa was goated and phainon (KILL CYRENE)

That doesn't make sense though. Isn't Imaginary Tree still listed as 1-B. All of HSR's scaling basically trickles down from that.

While I think that's quite foolish downgrade if it's blatantly said to 10 Spatial + 1 Temporal, that would change the Imaginary Tree scaling much.

Could you link the downgrade thread?

i understand why it was downgraded but i dont agree. not only is it stated to be 10 spatial + 1 time and infinite (50 times), bubble worlds that form in the sea are always bigger in size and dimensions that the preceding one its literally stated in the VN. the problem was that the bubbles inherit their dimensions from the sea meaning those 7 compact dimensions came from the sea thus making the sea only 4D + 1 time (which again i dont agree with but wtv)
