Wiki Page Deletion Requests Thread (New forum)

Yes, and I never see any change, and it appears that they only do this to deflect any criticism against how the verse appears.
Hum... Helloooo? I even linked you a profile that was updated while the pages were open:
On time?... on time of what? There isn't any rush dude, this is a hobby, there is no time-line anyone on this site needs to reach... all of this is purely for fun, it takes time to make things look good, so... yeah, it is going to be addressed in a later CRT, alongside other things, in fact, some profiles like Leomon were updated... so some WAS addressed, it just takes time... and that's ok

Okay, I think there’s no need to further this particular discussion pertaining what digimon profile gets deleted or what doesn’t. A consensus has been met and taken, no need to fill in the thread with digressions.

And Sean, yes, DaReaperMan and Omegabronic are correct here. If a profile is in the process of a revision by the knowledgeable members of the verse, there’s no time limit for anyone to do anything, it’s a hobby not a j*b. If they, the knowledgeable members, decide the profile is relevant enough or necessary enough in that upcoming revision, then there’s no need for it to get deleted. Not to add the profiles don’t look terrible, it’s fixable, it doesn’t break our editing standards significantly for you to be pushing for a delete persuasively.

I'm an Opponent of the verse. Pointing things out like those profiles is what I do.
That doesn't mean you should push to have them deleted. Being an opponent usually means trying to downgrade or oppose upgrades, not trying to get the pages shut down completely.

Anyway, let's move on from this.

Me and @Apeironaxim believe that we need to... trim some fat.

Overlord profiles that 100% need to go:
A character with very little screen time, is built solely on statements, and has a terrible profile with no plans of proper revision.
He does a little in a special, I think. But other than that he's copy/paste Touch Me reasoning. Both profiles are covered perfectly fine with Pandora's Actor.
Nonexistent screentime-- the damn thing only throws a big block of stone and that's it.
Fluder is a character entirely built up by statements. He has little screentime and overall just does basically nothing but exist and statement farm.

Overlord profiles we're not 100% sure on:
She does do things, but her profile is God awful and neither me nor Apeir feel like revising her.
Climb is actually a more major character than Lakyus, but see above. Also, his entire justification is a statement we can't find and Word of God. Not something to base a profile on. Bad profile+no plans to rework him, but as said he is major so... maybe?
Zero has one simple thing: He's got one of the main speed feats of the verse. That is really all putting this guy here, if he's deleted no tears will be shed, and if he stays... eh I might get to him, but that's a big might.

Reporting this profile for its terrible PnA section. Supporters have adamantly expressed that they have no desire to make it any better or write any justifications beyond linking another wiki.

Not too sure what to do here, but I'll let others decide I guess.

It doesn't explain anything. it's just endless links to another wiki
Oh my ******* god... I gotta go through this shit again...
Alright Slap Battles in his own is absolutely huge.
Player's main equipment is gloves... 250 of them and counting to be exact. In word form, that's two hundred fifty.
That's more abilities than any profile on this site. And you want me to explain all of the abilities one by one? I don't think so.
The absolute bare minimum that I can do is that in the Notable Attacks/Techniques section, I can place down a couple of oneshot gloves and powerful gloves and some super notable abilities like emby did here. But I'm not explaining all 250 damn gloves. The wiki pages can do that themselves. That's just a mountain of bytes that are just gonna be there for no damn reason.

I do have to ask... what is so terrible about it? To me, everything seems fine.
Endless links to another wiki. Explain the ******' abilities on the page instead of acting like having basic descriptions doesn't take 10 seconds to type up.

If you're not willing to explain every glove, don't make the profile
