RQ, would you agree that Strife's blitz dodges and Blade Mode cancel eachother out? Because that's really all that's in the air for me.

Raiden has two speed amps technically (not ripper mode obviously), Blade Mode is one with the stated slop, but he has another that's actually quicker than Blade Mode, but only works for like 1-2 attacks worth at a time, so idk.

Idk how fast Strife's shit is tho to say.
ive been holding the secret instant cheese method to my chest anyway for the end, ya'll never gonna see it coming...

A blitz above his normal speed. As in, 1 Frame he's in the way of an attack, the next frame he's like two meters away and has left behind a shadow clone to shoot his opponent. Imagine Sam's big dashes but both faster and he uses them to play keepaway while firing lasers at big as Raiden is while mixing in normal shots that are like, the size of his chest.

Strife's entire thing is that he never wants to go into melee or near it for the most part, so that's why Blade Mode was my concern and not the hyper blitz attacks.
 
And for the record: Strife's shots are legit massive.

And his guns are bigger than War's head. War is 2.38 meters tall. So yeah, ******' handcannons. Doesn't matter to Raiden cause he deals with bullets like they're nothing, but yeah.

Idk but Raiden's second speed amp is straight up stated to "From your perspective it will appear as if they're frozen in time". So that one hefty af.

As a fyi, do NOT forget shadow clones don't work on Raiden due to Solid Eye/Soliton Radar.
dont forget with Sam's dash if you use it while activating Blade Mode you throttle it and it gets like 10x faster.

They wouldn't anyways, they literally look like pure black versions of Strife, are stationary, and only shoot. Not like that'd work anyways it'd just be something else for Raiden to deflect.

I'll explain everything on the thread, right now I think the potions save him for long enough that he runs Raiden out of healing before he runs out of healing.
 
I'm prob gonna wait until Chariot comes back before posting the final match since I'd be unfair to have it without them.

Thank you all for participating!!!! This was my first concluded tournament, likely cause all my other ones were in fun and games and didn't get crazy traction.

I'll prob do something similar to this for a different verse's tournament in the future (Currently, I'm thinking of the World Martial Arts tournament from DB in 8-C or the Vytal Festival Tournament from RWBY in 8-B), but that's likely gonna be a good bit from now.
