Lament has a lament core (usually a very strong Tacet Discord) that triggers them (Like the one in Honami and Dark Tide caused by Leviathan). Since Threnodian > Any Tacet Discord and Rinascita cast basically jumped and beat Leviathan, we can scale characters that way.

It seems like a very big jump tho... I'm not exactly sure to be honest.

Wouldn't that cause literally anyone in the verse to scale to it then?
 
I think the most we can take from this right now is that the Lament can affect 5D structures, along with a few other minor implications. At the moment, it’s still very difficult to reliably scale characters based on this.

Yeah, it can upscale the cosmology even if no one really scales to it for now, although again, we would need that scene to be translated (or at least explained if we only use the EN scan). Nothing is urgent tho.

This is pretty much the elephant in the room, after all, we have no idea about this higher dimension in question outside of the statement. Granted, since it uses two dimensional and three dimensional in a similar way, unless the verse operates on some weird compactified dimension physics it should be referring to actual higher spatial dimensions. Though again, the problem is we lack context of it's significance, I seldom see this being accepted with just this alone rn (even considering other existing higher d statements in the verse that I am aware of to potentially support this).
 
Though honestly, we just gotta wait. Even PGR was the same back in the day, it only had random statements of higher d stuff and eventually they backed this up by expanding and exploring said realms eventually. I'm sure it's only a matter of time since we have a mf named H1B, source: trust me bro.

I used either DeepL or just AI to translate it, it doesn't mean it's perfect, but at least we get the gist of it.

One would assume that the following sequence of enumeration would imply that those higher dimensions share the same specificities as the 2D/3D before. I mean, you know I'm skeptical as hell, but between :

1: Assuming that each of those dimensions shares the same "size".

or

2: Assuming that somehow only 2D/3D share the same size, but somehow the higher ones are smaller/compactified/whatever.

One needs more assumptions than the other, really. But sure, in any case we can wait or just put a possibly if it's never clarified at one point.

I mean, if the verse has five spatial dimensions (meaning 5 spatial/temporal axis) and that those are legitimate dimensions (not compactified or not finite), yeah?

The only thing a little bit ambiguous is the plural/singular of "higher dimension/s" and like Alipheese said we have little informations about them. But imo, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Other instances of the wording "higher-dimension" in the verse could be dismissed as meaning something else, but here the meaning is within the sentence itself. At worse a possibly could work me think.

Yeah I agree with you there, it'd be a massive stretch to argue that the higher dimension that was blatantly directly compared to the size of the 2D & 3D plane would be of insignificant size just cuz but...well you know...this is VSB we're talking about so...eh.

Btw, since it will probably be some time until I read 3.0 like I mentioned, you guys are free to make profiles if you'd like. Doesn't help I'm focusing on some other verse's rn, pretty sure aside from things like Leviathan all the other characters are pretty simple. Though we shouldn't make profiles for characters we lack sufficient information on.
 
Though to clarify, sufficient information and just a general lackluster set of P&A's aren't the same thing. A character like Ovathrax is the former while a character like Encore is the latter.
 
I hope they release the gameplay soon. The Luuk mains subreddit is starting to turn into a Half-Life 2 subreddit.

Pretty sure Aemeath has layered incorporeality & invis (probably like 2 layers even), the animation was good. I've been trying to keep myself from looking at stuff until I play it, but figured I'd at least check it out
 
There are probably a few feat caused by the void worm and Threnodian (black hole-like objects swallowing cities and volcanic eruptions).

Got Quiyuan in 3 pulls. To be fair I wasn't trying to pull him. He is good
I lost Chisa because of him though. Next patch Chisa and Aemeath banner will be up. So I'm cooked. Knowing Aemeath is like Cartwheel in 3.0 so they wouldn't be making her rerun anytime soon. So focus on her with everything.
