Genshin Impact Discussion Thread

Well, after seeing how Dottore opens the false sky as if it were cutting butter, using the power of the space of the moons. I think the Heavenly Principles must be in very bad shape. I mean, aren't they the ones who uphold the existence of the border? Alice also mentioned that the borders of the world (the sky) have weakened over the years. In my opinion, this could be an allegory for the state of the Heavenly Principles being worse than we think.

New Characters for the future versions.

Lohen, Varka, Nicole, ???, Sandrone

Alice is the one maintaining border of worlds after Asmoday went missing, not HP

She guards the borders of Teyvat; she does not hold up the false sky barrier. I don't think her title is "sustainer" because she keeps the barrier intact, but rather because she prevents it from collapsing or makes sure nothing enters. I don't think Alice has the power to hold up the false sky; it must be the Heavenly Principles, and since they are currently dormant/weakened, I think the false sky reflects that.

Yeah, but last we saw him he was getting oneshotted by someone inferior to Hydro Traveler, meanwhile Flins can scale to Post Training Traveler. Meanwhile Dottore, Arle, Sandrone and Scara get in 1 patch what Tarta hasnt been able to achieve in like 5 years

Yeah, its buns, BURN IT ALIVE RN

If u are able to read u would notice i said "then is consistent with x feat of Dehya, which via promo video can scale to Cyno"
Flins doesn’t really scale to Traveler. He got bodied by phatom Rerir who the Traveler fought evenly and his only other feats are just teaming up with the Traveler.

Lol

What has Dehya done that scales her to Sumeru Traveler again? Consecrated beasts? Doesn’t the Traveler just beat em up? Have we ever seen the Traveler say anything regarding consecrated beasts or even fight them in a cutscene?

Apparently in the trailer u see Arle and Varka surrounded by Nicole's magic, she most likely amping them
BUT THE 7TH FATUI HARBINGER IS GOING STRAY HAND TO HAND AGAINST A MOON GOD, WHAT IS SHE COOKING?

You are just describing a downscale + Sahl are talk about the fact that Flins was getting weaker, so yeah it was much easier target

Downscale, they can survive some beating of him. Its not like nuclear bomb vs baby

It doesn’t change the fact that he lost 1v1 and the Traveler saved him. This doesn’t signify scaling to the Traveler. Like does Tartaglia scale to Neuvillete because they both fought the whale?

Treasure Hoarders, Ruin machines and Fatui can survive beatings. Doesn’t mean they scale. If you can’t show actual relativity then there’s no real scaling here.

It wasn't just 1 fight, they had an all going brawl. Flins won all except the last (And even if u lose, u can still downscale)

Tarta couldnt even pierce the narwhal to begin, it litterally ignore him, do u see the same with Flins and Rerir (Shadow)?

From Trav? Treasure and Fatui most of the times are alive because Trav aint no serial killer. Ruin Machines i dont renember any encounter with the machine surviving
But want a more concrete scaling?

So he still lost. Previous encounters don’t matter as Rerir was growing stronger over time.

What visible damage did Neuvillete do to the whale again?

Are you serious? You’re using an NPC getting injured by a consecrated beast and then getting her butt kicked by the Traveler as scaling? Didn’t you just use the Traveler holding back on human opponents as an argument?

Getting lost doesn't mean cannot scale. Nibelung scale to Heavenly Principles despite being lost. As long as they're not getting one shot and the one who lost can harm them, they can scale to each other.

We have this
  • Character A performs a feat of destroying a city and has City level durability. Character B lost a fight to Character A, yet still put up a considerable struggle, was able to harm Character A, and made Character A exert significant effort to defeat Character B. In this case, it's safe to assess that Character B also has City levelAttack Potency and Durability.
    • In this case, due to the massive broadness of tiers, even if there is a clear power gap between two characters, it typically cannot be a big enough gap that they're tiers apart if they can have an actual fight with someone. For example, a Small Planet level character would never be able to harm or do anything to a Large Planet level character, as the gap between the two tiers is nearly 30 million times. As such, even if a character overall lost to a Large Planet level character, if they were able to cause considerable harm to and hold their own against that person, they'd also have to be Large Planet level, though on a lesser extent than whoever they lost to.

Nibelung critically injured HP before being bested which is why we assume relativity. Kazuha chooses to dodge an arrow rather than tank it so do Treasure Hoarders scale to him? Fake Albedo chose to dodge Amber’s arrow and Bennett’s attack so do they now scale to Eula and Jean? The fact of the matter is that what we see of the fight is phantom Rerir beat Flins down without much difficulty.

A entire hole trought its body (Do narwhal went to heal in the PS)

In Tadhla quest that rules doesnt apply because she was asking us for a fair fight that wished would end her life
The scaling would go:
- Aether Dendro >= Tadhla >= Consecrated Beast
Fake Albedo chose to dodge Amber’s arrow and Bennett’s attack so do they now scale to Eula and Jean?
There was a time when this was a thing, anyways what Sahl said

Notice the act 8 of the archon quest title is "True Moon"?, that might be a hint of Columbina's rebirth as the True Moon.

Sandrone: "Rene de Petrichor of the Ordo once foretold the fate of the world. Teyvat's skies contain multiple moons. A long time ago, when I did my first scan, I detected three: just as the legends say.
But when I checked again just now, I detected four moons."

The peak got mentioned
Tears come down

Magnificent, noble creations descended from the light itself, and the mortals — unable to look upon their true visages — called them angels.
Their pale silver wings shimmered like moonlit flames; their heads were adorned with crowns of sevenfold radiance, wrought of the bones of the earth and the stars of the sky.
The name upon those crowns was the love promised unto all creatures by the heavenly god, or perhaps a mandate to rule over the nations of the earth.
