Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

I know you all probably had this discussion before, so I apologize for my lack of consistency, but why do you not just scale Hakari's reactions to MHS+ (lightning speed) instead of continuously trying to calc it? At bare minimum he should be able to scale reaction wise, to moving away from the incoming strike to prevent it from splitting his skull in half.

I just feel like it is crazy inconsistent to deem this feat a complete outlier. Nobody else really has to scale to his reactions either.

I mean, tbf that'd be consistent with the whole city - large mountain calc that 15F Sukuna got and mechamaru's year charges being small city

he didnt react to it and didnt move away it just hit his shoulder to begin with



may anime end that debate once and for all

I meant more so that I thought his reseverses could be weaker than yuta's (though I got corrected that his reserves were Yuta level always so I'll that that back 100% if true), I 100% think he's stronger and trying more than was with Yuta (especially since Sukuna was seething with rage and had a chunk of his weird eye mask taken off from a Yuji black flash), Sukuna landed a black flash after all

no one besides Gojo and Sukuna, which works because weakened sukuna transforms before lightning hits him.
I don't know why we don't but I think people are just fatigued with the feat in general
 
Lets forget about the hakari feat and create a new MHS era of Kashimo blitzing Sukuna which reacted to lightning and Sukuna’s dismantle cutting the clouds

He probably had a reserve above Yuta when Yuji was climbing up actually, considering the fact that Yuji starts climbing up to him in Chapter 257, Yuji hits 5 black flashes right in the same chapter, Sukuna uses domain + furnace in the next one, fights todo and yuji right after, get hit with ANOTHER black flash AND THEN the narrator says his cursed energy is still at yuta's level due to his efficiency. Even tho Sukuna says he was at yuta's level in CE back in chapter 250 before he got most of his damage lol.

But that's just the thing, high tiers have to scale. Speed isn't some unique stat in JJK that isn't shared to a great degree. The body is enhanced through ce, Hakari in Jackpot is getting reacted to and hit by Uraume and Kashimo, Yuta is considered on his level narratively, and Maki's the literal superhuman of the heavy hitters. It'd make no sense Hakari's an anomaly. And we can't act like reactions of the body don't translate to combat speed.

Say you rotate your torso to dodge an attack, in other cases you rotate your torso to also punch. These two things are almost inseparable because of how the body moves in fights, so if Hakari can literally move himself sideways with the muscle groups needed for that, he'd be using those to also punch or kick.

Might as well remove, like, all his MBA matchups since he has crazy reactions which none of them accounted for (Zenitzu vs. Kashimo should have a rematch where Kashimo's in MBA)

Well, to be fair, couldn't you use Yuji as an example of it boosting speed?
Yuji could literally do zero hits to healed Sukuna to being able to keep up somewhat, all before Megumi made a useless puddle helped out
